View full detailsRacing simulator accessories are the mounts, stands and hardware that turn a bare cockpit into a finished rig. Gamer Gear Direct stocks them across Australia, from wheel and pedal mounts to monitor stands, floor mats and the small spare parts that keep a build going.
Read MoreA mount is what stops your gear moving under load. Wheelbase mounts, pedal plates, shifter brackets and handbrake side mounts bolt to the frame at a set position, and the right one depends on the cockpit you own and the base you are fixing to it.
Most are cut for a specific bolt pattern or profile size, so check the fitment note on the product before you order. Complete frames are in Racing Simulator Cockpits, and the pedals themselves are in Sim Racing Pedals.
Screen position changes how a rig feels more than most upgrades do. Cockpit-mounted stands fix the screen to the frame so it moves with the rig, while freestanding stands sit behind it and suit a setup that gets moved, shared or packed away.
Single, dual, triple and quad configurations are available, along with the VESA arms, extrusion and brackets to build one up. The full range sits in Monitor Stands.
A floor mat protects timber and tile from the weight of a loaded rig and stops the frame creeping under heavy braking. Options run from neoprene through to diamond plate, and some carry edge lighting.
Levelling feet, caster wheels and extrusion end caps finish a build off, and make a heavy rig easier to square up on an uneven floor or roll out of the way.
Keyboard and mouse trays, PC and control box shelves, tablet and button box holders, headphone hooks and a cup holder all fix to the same extrusion as the rest of the rig.
These are the parts people add last and miss most. A tray that swings clear when you race, or a holder that keeps a drink off the floor, changes how usable a rig is day to day.
Bolts, ball-bearing nuts, washers, spacers and end caps are stocked as individual parts, so a build or a repair does not stall waiting on a single fastener.
Quick release adapters and wheel-side kits are grouped in Quick Releases. Mounts and panels for flight setups are in Flight Simulator Accessories.
Check the product page for the frame and bolt pattern it is cut for. Most mounts are made for a specific profile size or wheelbase pattern, and an adapter plate covers some of the gaps. If you are unsure, call us with your cockpit model and we will check it.
Work from the screen weight and VESA pattern rather than the diagonal alone. A cockpit-mounted stand keeps the screen fixed to the rig, and a freestanding stand is the better choice if the rig moves or the screen is very large.
On carpet, mostly for grip and to stop the frame walking. On timber or tile it is about protecting the surface from the weight and from bolt heads. A heavier mat also takes some of the noise out of a rig under load.
Often yes, through a universal mount or an adapter plate, since most aluminium profile cockpits share common extrusion sizes. Tube chassis rigs are less interchangeable, so check the fitment note before ordering.
Whatever stops something moving. A solid wheelbase or pedal mount changes how a rig feels far more than any extra will, and it is the part that limits how hard you can push everything else.
Everything here is sourced through official channels and covered by its manufacturer warranty, with support handled locally rather than through an overseas returns process. Most stock is held and dispatched from our Adelaide warehouse, with some lines shipped direct by our brand partners.
If you are not certain a mount suits your frame, call us on (03) 9961 0240, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, and we will check it with you before you order. You are also welcome to see the gear set up in person at our Dandenong South showroom in Melbourne.
