A display panel takes the multifunction screen out of the sim and gives it its own housing, so you read it where a pilot would rather than hunting for it in the corner of a monitor.

Building a Panel Layout

Displays are usually the second stage of a simpit, once the stick, throttle and pedals are settled. They stack with switch panels and control modules to fill out the front of the cockpit.

Mounting and Space

Panels need a frame or a mount rather than a desk, because they sit in front of you at a fixed height and angle. Plan where they go before you buy, particularly if a monitor already occupies that space.
