MOZA Flight Simulation

Force Feedback Bases and Grips

The base is the part that does the work. Inside it a motor holds and moves the control against you, which is what lets a stall buffet, a trim change or a heavy control at speed reach your hand at all. The AB9 drives a flight stick, while the AY90 and AY210 drive a yoke.

Grips and yoke arms are separate parts that mount to it, so an MA3X side stick can become an MH16 flightstick later without touching the expensive component underneath, and the MHG flightstick and the MFY and MFY Pro yokes mount the same way. The full stick range is in Joysticks.

Throttles, Panels and Pedals

Throttle modules and panels add the levers, switches and trim controls that a keyboard handles badly, and they clip together so a quadrant can grow with the aircraft you fly. The TQA and TQB are single throttle modules, the MTP and MTQ are throttle panels, and the MTLP panel sits alongside them.

Pedals bring yaw and toe braking, and they run alongside anything else you own. The MRP rudder pedals take a matching adjustable damper if you want to change how heavy they feel. Those sit in Rudder Pedals, with the throttle units in Flight Sim Throttles.

Mounting a MOZA Setup

A table clamp holds a base to a desk for a first setup, and the flight base mount adapter fixes it to a cockpit frame once the desk runs out of room. Yokes take a clamp of their own. Clamps and adapters are in Flight Simulator Accessories.

MOZA Flight FAQs

What makes a force feedback base different?

A spring centres a conventional stick with the same pull every time. A force feedback base drives it with a motor, so the loading changes with what the aircraft is doing.

Does MOZA make a HOTAS setup?

HOTAS means hands on throttle and stick. Pair an AB9 base and flightstick with a TQA or TQB throttle module and that is what you have, with both hands on the controls and the switches under your fingers.

Can I use MOZA gear with other brands?

Yes. On PC each device is read separately, so MOZA pedals or a throttle will run alongside a yoke or stick from another maker.

Do the grips swap between bases?

Grips and yoke arms are designed to mount to the base rather than being fixed to it, which is the point of the system. Check the product page for the specific pairing.

Does MOZA flight gear work on console?

The flight range is built around PC. Console licensed gear is grouped in Xbox Flight Controls.
