The Logitech MOMO Rims

Two rims, and the difference is diameter. The MOMO Sim GT 320 is the larger GT shape, closer to what a road-going race car uses. The MOMO Sim GT-Racer 290 is the smaller one, with less rotational mass, so inputs feel quicker and corrections are sharper. Both come in a choice of microfibre finishes.

Both are official MOMO and Logitech G collaborations, and both mount to the Logitech G RS Wheel Hub rather than directly to a base. If you are running a Logitech PRO or RS50 wheelbase, that hub is the part that makes the swap possible. The rest of the range is in Logitech sim racing.

MOMO Racing Seats

The MOMO Daytona Evo and the MOMO Super Cup are FIA approved fibreglass bucket seats, which is the same construction MOMO sells for real competition rather than a sim-only product. The Daytona Evo is the fuller shell; the Super Cup is the lighter, more compact one.

A fibreglass shell does not flex the way a padded gaming chair does, so your hips stay put under braking and the steering inputs that follow are more repeatable. Other brands are in racing seats.

What You Need to Run Them

Neither part is standalone, and that trips people up. The rims need the Logitech G RS Wheel Hub and a compatible Logitech direct drive base, so check what you own before ordering. Wheelbases across every brand we carry are in direct drive wheelbases.

The seats need a cockpit and a mount. A bucket seat bolts through its side rails to a sliding bracket, not straight to the floor of a rig. Cockpits are in sim racing cockpits and the brackets that carry the seat are in seat mounts and sliders.

Will a MOMO rim fit my wheelbase?

It fits through the Logitech G RS Wheel Hub, which mounts to Logitech PRO and RS50 direct drive bases. The rim does not attach to a base on its own, and it is not made for other brands' bases.

What is the difference between the GT 320 and the GT-Racer 290?

Diameter. The GT 320 is the larger rim and feels closer to a road-going race car. The GT-Racer 290 is smaller with less rotational mass, so steering feels faster and corrections are sharper. Grip and construction are otherwise comparable.

Are these the same MOMO wheels that go in a car?

No. These are sim racing rims built with Logitech G for direct drive wheelbases. MOMO's automotive steering wheels are a separate range and are not interchangeable with simulator hardware.

Can I put a MOMO racing seat in any cockpit?

Most rigid cockpits will take one, but it mounts through side brackets rather than bolting flat, so you need seat mounts or sliders suited to your frame. Worth a call if you are unsure what your rig takes.

Is a fibreglass bucket seat worth it over a gaming chair?

For consistency, yes. A fixed shell holds your hips in place under braking and cornering load, so your steering inputs repeat. A padded chair moves with you, which is comfortable but less precise.
