View full detailsSeat mounts and sliders are what connect a racing seat to the frame underneath it. Gamer Gear Direct stocks brackets and slider kits across Australia for aluminium profile and tubular cockpits, so the seat sits where you want it and stays there under braking.
Read MoreA bracket fixes the seat to the frame at a set height and angle. A slider sits between the two and lets the seat travel fore and aft without tools. Most rigs need a bracket, and a slider is the addition you make when more than one person drives.
They are bought separately because not every build wants both. If you are replacing a seat rather than a whole rig, check which your frame already has before ordering. The seats themselves are in our racing seats range.
A fixed bucket bolts through its side flanges, so it needs side brackets cut for that pattern. The Adjustable Seat Brackets for Bucket Seats cover that, and the Oversized 18-Stage Adjustable Seat Bracket adds height and angle steps for taller drivers or a lower driving position.
A reclining seat mounts from underneath instead. There are two bracket sets for those, one with angle adjustment and one without, and the difference is simply whether you want to set the base angle or leave it square. Check which style your seat is before you choose.
The Universal Dual-Lock Seat Slider Kit locks from both sides, which is what stops a slider becoming the flex point in an otherwise rigid rig. The Universal Compact Seat Slider Kit does the same job in less space, and the Playseat Seat Slider suits Playseat frames.
The Motorised Seat Slider moves the seat under power rather than by hand. It is the sensible choice for a showroom rig, a shared setup or anyone who would rather not climb out to adjust. Frames are in sim racing cockpits and the wider hardware range is in racing simulator accessories.
Everything here is genuine stock bought through official channels, covered by its manufacturer warranty and by your rights under Australian Consumer Law, with support handled here rather than sent offshore. Orders ship from our Adelaide warehouse.
Fitment is the part worth getting right, and it is quicker to check than to return. Call us on (03) 9961 0240, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, with your seat and your frame, or see the combinations set up at our Dandenong South showroom in Melbourne.
Only if the seat needs to move. A bracket alone is fine for a single driver who sets the position once. A slider earns its place when the rig is shared or when you switch between a formula and a GT driving position.
Check the profile size or bolt pattern your frame uses, which is on its product page. The brackets here are cut for aluminium profile and tubular Trak Racer frames, and the Playseat slider is for Playseat frames. If you are unsure, call us with the model.
A single-sided one can. That is why the Dual-Lock kit locks from both sides: it removes the twist that shows up under a strong wheelbase. If your rig runs high torque, it is worth choosing on that basis alone.
No. A bucket bolts through its sides and a recliner mounts underneath, so the bracket sets are not interchangeable. Match the bracket to the seat style, not to the frame alone.
