High quality Yoke

High quality Yoke. Competitive cost and very quick delivery.
I could not assign all switches for FSX and some do not work properly. However, the main functions are fine. Hopefully all switches will be functional in FS2020. Also, keep in mind that it is quite a large unit,- you need bigger space on the deck in comparison with joystick.

Not For The Faint Hearted

I would have given the Honeycomb Flight Controls and Yoke 5 stars as the equipment itself is outstanding and has significantly added to my sim rig, but programming the yoke proved a nightmare to start with and so 4 stars was the best I could do.

The videos on the Aerosoft web site didn't really help a great deal and it wasn't until I had spent several frustrating hours on the web that I finally understood how to program the autopilot buttons successfully. Once I had the first button sorted, the rest was simple and, since then, I have had no problems at all.

In summary, great gear that could simply do with a couple of clearly laid out examples of how to program the buttons for each of the main flight sims.

The cockpit was easy to install although the tools provided could be better. The setup suits me at 1.8m tall and seems robust enough to last overtime. it's quite comfy, even being lightweight, and is easy to get in and out using the swinging gate style steering setup. Can recommend this.
