Description

110mm each way, on a full size handle

A cold rolled steel seat slider giving 110mm of travel forward and 110mm back from centre. That is a generous range, enough to accommodate two adults of noticeably different heights without touching the brackets.

The rail measures 340mm in total, or 320mm excluding the handle. It fits under a seat or under seat brackets, and it is the full size option in the slider range.

Key features

  • 110mm travel forward and 110mm back
  • Cold rolled steel construction
  • Total length 340mm, 320mm excluding the handle
  • Full size operating handle
  • Fits under a seat or seat brackets
  • Universal fitment

Travel, and what it buys you

A 220mm total range covers most of the difference between drivers in one household. Once the brackets set the angle and the seat sets the shape, fore and aft is the only adjustment left, and it is the one that changes most between people.

It is also the adjustment you want to make quickly. A slider that takes tools is a slider nobody uses, which is why the handle is worth as much as the travel.

Handle size, and where it matters

This is the full size handle version, which is easy to reach and easy to operate. On most rigs that is exactly what you want.

On a cockpit with a centre mounted flight stick, a low wheel deck or a pedal plate that sits close to the seat, a large handle can foul something. The compact slider kit exists for that case, with a smaller handle designed to clear centre mounted hardware. Check the space under your seat before choosing.

Where it sits in the stack

The order from the chassis upward is rig, slider, brackets, seat. The slider does not replace your brackets, so you still need the correct set for your seat type.

Side mounted buckets take bucket seat brackets, and bottom mounted reclining seats take recline seat brackets. Fit the slider first, then the brackets on top of it.

Our expert take

"Sliders are the accessory people skip and then wish they had. The moment a second person sits in your rig, a slider is the difference between a two minute adjustment and an evening with a spanner. Get the handle size right for your cockpit and it is a set and forget purchase."

Frequently asked questions

How much travel does it give?

110mm forward and 110mm back from centre.

How long is the rail?

340mm in total, or 320mm excluding the handle. Measure the space under your seat before ordering.

Do I still need seat brackets?

Yes. The slider sits between the chassis and your brackets. It does not replace them.

Should I choose this or the compact version?

This one has a full size handle and is easier to operate. The compact version has a smaller handle for cockpits where a centre mounted flight stick, wheel deck or pedal plate would foul a larger one.
