Trak Racer 5-Speaker Mount Kit for TR8 Pro
Surround sound only works if the speakers are actually where the mix expects them to be. Sitting them on a desk behind the rig gets you volume and not much else. This kit puts five speakers around the cockpit itself, on the frame, at the positions that make a surround mix read as direction rather than noise. It sits with the other racing simulator accessories we stock.
The mounts are laser-cut steel finished in matte black to match the TR8 Pro, and they are designed for that cockpit and for Trak Racer's aluminium extrusion frames.
They take any speaker with a wall-mount fitting on the back, which covers most compact surround sets including Logitech.

Speakers on the rig, not around the room
A surround mix encodes direction. If the speakers move relative to your head every time you adjust the seat, that direction becomes approximate, and the information you would otherwise get from engine note behind you or a car alongside is lost.
Mounting to the cockpit fixes the speakers relative to the driver rather than to the room. The rig and the audio move together, the imaging stays put, and a shared rig does not need re-aiming every time somebody else sits in it. If you are also running tactile feedback, the haptic systems we carry pair naturally with this.
Fits the speakers most people already own
The mounts are cut for speakers with a wall-mount fitting on the back, which is the standard arrangement on compact surround sets including Logitech. If your satellites have no mounting point at all, double-sided tape is the workaround Trak Racer suggests, though a speaker with a proper fitting is the better outcome.
Construction is laser-cut steel in matte black, so the finish sits alongside the TR8 Pro rather than standing out against it.

Which cockpits does it fit?
It is designed for the Trak Racer TR8 Pro and for Trak Racer aluminium extrusion cockpits. Other extrusion rigs will often work, but check your profile size before ordering, or ask us and we will confirm it against the aluminium chassis rigs.
Are speakers included?
No. This is the mounting hardware only. It fits speakers that have a wall-mount fitting on the back, which covers most compact surround sets including Logitech.
What if my speakers have no mounting point?
Trak Racer suggests double-sided tape as a workaround. It works for light satellites, but a speaker with a proper wall-mount fitting is the more secure option and the one the kit is designed around.
How many speakers does it hold?
Five, positioned around the cockpit for a surround layout. It is a mounting kit rather than an audio system, so the amplifier and speakers are your own.
