Description
Alpine blue, matched to the livery
The same TRX gear shifter mount, finished in Alpine F1 car blue. On an Alpine liveried cockpit it picks up the team colour running through the frame and reads as part of the design rather than as a replacement part in the wrong shade.
Like every mount for this chassis it clamps to the two inch steel tube the TRX is built from, so it positions anywhere along the frame rather than only where a slot allows.

When the colour is the reason
A blue mount on a black frame is a statement, and on the Alpine liveried TRX it is the correct one. The finish is matched to the team blue rather than being a generic shade, which is the difference between looking specified and looking approximate.
On a standard black TRX it will stand out. Some owners want exactly that, using the shifter mount and a few other blue parts as accent points across an otherwise dark rig.
Planning the accents
If you are going to run colour on a rig, run it deliberately. One blue part in isolation looks like a mistake, whereas two or three placed symmetrically across the frame look like a build.
The matte black version is the choice if you would rather the mount disappear. Both are the same part underneath, so the decision is purely how visible you want it.
