Most sim racing monitors use VESA 75 or 100, and stands are built around that. Televisions are different: once a panel gets past about 40 inches, manufacturers move to much wider patterns to spread the load across the back of the chassis.
If the holes on the back of your screen are further apart than 200mm, a standard VESA plate will not reach them. This bracket is what closes that distance.
