A direct motor mount for Asetek SimSports wheelbases that works with a wheel deck rather than the TR One base kit. It covers the Initium and Initium+, the La Prima and La Prima+, the Forte, the Invicta and the Tony Kanaan edition.
This mount bolts onto a wheel deck or wheel plate rather than replacing one. If your cockpit does not already have a deck, you will need one as well. That makes it the route for a rig that already has a deck fitted, or a cockpit from another manufacturer that uses one.
This mount is machined for the Asetek bolt pattern and nothing else. Initium, Initium+, La Prima, La Prima+, Forte, Invicta and Tony Kanaan are the fitments.
If you run a different brand, the equivalent mounts exist for each. The MOZA universal mount and the Simucube, VRS and Simagic mount cover the other two large groups.
Twelve degrees of tilt lets you angle the wheel toward the driver rather than presenting it flat, which matters more the further back you recline. The 15mm plate is what carries that angle without the base nodding under load.
Fit it to a deck that is itself solid. A rigid mount bolted to a flexing deck is still a flexing assembly, and on an Invicta you will feel the difference immediately.
This mount and the TR One base kit are two different routes to the same result. The base kit route uses a machined front plate on a dedicated structure. This route bolts a motor mount onto a deck you already own.
If you are building from scratch and want the tidier result, the complete Asetek V3 kit is the one to look at. If your rig already has a deck, this is the cheaper and simpler change.
