The MOZA ecosystem

MOZA hardware is designed as one system. Any MOZA steering wheel fits any MOZA wheelbase through a shared quick release, pedals and shifters connect natively across the range, and everything is configured through a single piece of software. You are not locking yourself into a dead end.

That matters most when you upgrade. Most drivers start with a wheelbase and wheel, add load cell pedals when braking becomes the limiting factor, then a shifter or handbrake when they move into rally or touring cars. Each step reuses what you already own.

Direct drive wheelbases

The wheelbase is the foundation of the setup and the part you feel most. MOZA uses servo motors with high-resolution encoders, which means force feedback arrives faster and carries more detail than belt or gear driven alternatives. Kerb strikes, surface texture and the moment a tyre lets go all come through the rim rather than being smoothed away.

The range splits into two families. The numbered bases cover entry level through to enthusiast use and quote peak torque. The Ultra line is built for sustained output, holding its rated torque through long stints rather than peaking and backing off, which is what separates it in endurance running.

MOZA steering wheels

Rim diameter is the decision most people get wrong. Smaller rims turn faster and suit open wheelers and modern GT cars where your hands stay put. Larger rims give you more leverage and the wider hand positions that road, rally and truck driving actually use. Shape follows from that: flat topped and bottomed for formula, round or D shaped for everything else.

Every MOZA wheel uses the same quick release, so any rim fits any base and swapping takes seconds. Buttons, rotaries and displays vary more than they look on a photograph, so if you race a discipline with a lot of in car adjustment, count the inputs before you choose.

MOZA pedals

Pedals are the upgrade most drivers underestimate. Entry sets measure how far you push the brake, so your braking is only as consistent as your ankle position. A load cell brake measures pressure instead, which means the same force always produces the same braking, and that is what turns threshold and trail braking from luck into technique.

Active pedals go a step further and drive force back through the pedal face, so you feel lockup and ABS in your foot rather than reading it off the screen. Most MOZA pedal sets ship as throttle and brake, with the clutch sold separately, so you can add the third pedal when you start driving cars that need it.

R3 and R5 bundles ship with the SRP Lite2 pedal set, which is not sold on its own. It uses Hall sensors rather than a load cell, which is exactly why pedals are the most common first upgrade after a bundle. If you are buying pedals separately, the SRP2 is where the range starts, and it uses a load cell brake, so the entry point here sits further up than it does on most brands.

You do not have to replace the bundled set to improve it. The SRP Lite2 brake performance kit changes how the brake loads up, the throttle and clutch kit does the same for the other two, and a clutch pedal adds the third pedal. Those kits are made for the current set. If you bought a bundle earlier and are not certain which pedals you have, call us before ordering and we will check it against your order.

MOZA shifters and handbrakes

An H pattern shifter suits classic cars, road cars and truck sim, where finding the gate is part of the driving. A sequential shifter suits modern touring and rally cars, where the movement is one firm pull and the mechanism has to survive being hammered. MOZA builds both, plus an active shifter that drives force back through the lever.

A handbrake matters more than most drivers expect once they start rallying. Mounted vertically or horizontally, it gives you a real third input for initiating slides and handling hairpins. Shifter and handbrake bundles are the usual way to add both at once and are the cheaper route if you know you want the pair.

Complete MOZA bundles

A bundle pairs a wheelbase with a matched steering wheel, and in most cases a pedal set, so everything arrives compatible and ready to mount. It is the simplest way into direct drive and usually costs less than buying the same parts separately.

Every wheelbase tier is available as a bundle. Entry bundles pair the base and wheel with a starter pedal set. Upgraded bundles swap in load cell pedals, which is the version we recommend for anyone who expects to race seriously. Truck bundles pair a base with a large diameter truck rim for Euro Truck and American Truck Simulator.

Start with the MOZA R9 Bundle if you want a setup you will not outgrow quickly, or the MOZA R5 Bundle if you are moving up from a gear driven wheel for the first time.

MOZA Pit House software

Every MOZA product is configured through one application. Pit House handles force feedback curves, steering angle, pedal calibration and pressure curves, button mapping, shift lights and dashboard display settings, so you are not juggling separate utilities for each component.

Firmware updates arrive through the same app, which means the hardware improves over time without you doing anything. If you want to tune in detail the control is there, and if you would rather not, the default profiles for most major titles are sound straight out of the box.
