The Performance Kit raises the resistance ceiling and changes the response characteristic from a more linear feel to a progressive one, where resistance builds more steeply as the pedal approaches maximum travel. That progressive feel is closer to what a real car brake pedal communicates during high-force braking, making threshold braking and consistent trail braking technique easier to develop by feel rather than by reference to a brake bias indicator. The spring and damping block design also adds rebound resistance on release, which makes partial brake releases and brake-to-throttle transitions more controllable during corner entry.

No. The kit fits to the SRP Lite2 brake pedal by fixing two top screws and pressing the bottom pivots into the existing groove. No modification to the pedal base is required and no specialist tools are needed.
Does it work with MOZA Pit House after installation?
Yes. All pedal output monitoring, travel range settings, and signal curve adjustment continue to run through MOZA Pit House after the kit is installed. The software tuning layer allows the brake curve to be adjusted further to match the new physical feel to your preferred response profile.
How is this different from just adjusting the brake curve in Pit House?
Pit House curve adjustment changes how the pedal's position data is translated into in-game brake input. The Performance Kit changes the physical feel of the pedal itself, increasing resistance and adding progressive rebound. Both work independently and can be combined: the kit provides the physical feel upgrade, and Pit House fine-tunes the signal output on top of it.
