Pearlescent, and rated to 200kg
The TR Series GT shell in a high gloss pearlescent finish. It is an ultra rigid fibreglass bucket in the GT fixed back profile, and it carries the highest weight rating in the seat range at 200kg.
That rating is worth noting because it is higher than several dearer seats in the lineup. If you are a larger driver, or you simply want the margin, this is the shell that gives it to you. It fits the tube frame cockpits including the RS6, TR8 Pro, TRX, Porsche 91XTR and Carbon Fibre TRX, and the aluminium profile range covering the TR200, TRA, TR160, TR120, TR80S, TR40S and TRK.

Where it sits in the TR Series
The TR Series GT is a family of the same shell in different finishes and materials. This one is fibreglass with a pearlescent paint finish. There is also a grey fibreglass version in the same family, and a dry carbon version that swaps the shell material entirely.
The fibreglass shells share their geometry and their 200kg rating. The carbon one is a genuine material step rather than a colour choice, which is why it sits at a very different price.
The 200kg rating
Two hundred kilograms is a substantial margin for a sim seat and it is the number that most often decides this purchase. It is not about the driver's weight alone. A seat that is comfortably inside its rating flexes less under load, which matters when you are bracing against a high torque wheel.
If you are also running serious force feedback, the seat is part of the same structural path as the wheel mount. Our direct drive wheelbases and the mounting hardware that goes with them are worth considering as one system rather than three purchases.
Mounting it
The shell is side mount compatible, so it hangs between two brackets rather than sitting on a base. That is the standard arrangement for a fixed back bucket and it puts your hips lower than a bottom mounted seat would.
The bucket seat brackets are the matching part. If you want a wider range of angle steps, the 18 stage bracket gives you finer control over where the shell ends up.

The dry carbon seat uses a genuine motorsport grade carbon fibre shell rather than fibreglass. It is a material change, not a finish change, which is why the two are priced very differently.

How does it mount?
