MOZA R9 V3 Bundle
The MOZA R9 V3 Bundle pairs the 9Nm wheelbase with a MOZA wireless racing wheel of your choosing, matched and ready to run out of the box. It suits a driver building a rig from scratch, or stepping up from a belt or gear driven wheel and replacing both parts at once.
As supplied, the bundle ships with the MOZA ESX racing wheel, which is officially licensed for Xbox. That makes this bundle Xbox and PC compatible as it comes. Choose a different wheel from the options above and the base becomes PC only, so pick the ESX if console play matters to you.
If you already own a MOZA wheel you are happy with, buy the MOZA R9 V3 wheelbase on its own instead and keep what you have.

Choosing your MOZA wheel
The wheel is the part you actually touch, and it is where this bundle is worth thinking about. Every option connects to the same R9 V3 base over the same wireless quick release, so the choice is about shape, materials and controls rather than compatibility.
Round GT style rims suit touring cars, GT racing and rally, and give you a full rim to work with. Formula style rims are flat-bottomed or butterfly shaped, put more controls under your thumbs, and suit open wheelers. Higher tier wheels add carbon fibre construction, more rotaries and encoders, and in some cases an integrated display.
The ESX is the entry point and the only Xbox licensed option. If you are unsure, it is the sensible starting wheel, and the quick release means changing to a second rim later takes seconds rather than a rebuild.
What the R9 V3 base brings
It is a 9Nm direct drive wheelbase with a 21-bit encoder and a 1000Hz refresh rate, in an aviation grade aluminium housing. Direct drive means the rim is coupled straight to the motor with no belts or gears, so what you feel is what the simulation calculated rather than a softened version of it.

What this bundle does not include
This bundle is a wheelbase and a wheel. Pedals are not included. If you need them, the MOZA R9 V3 + CRP2 Pedals Bundle adds load cell pedals and the MOZA R9 V3 + SRP2 Pedals Bundle adds the hybrid load cell set. Buying pedals as part of a bundle costs less than adding them later, and our sim racing pedals range covers the alternatives.
A mount is not included either. The base takes four bottom bolts or an optional side bracket, and fits the sim racing cockpits we stock along with most aluminium profile rigs. A table clamp is available if you are running a desk rather than a rig.
Which R9 V3 bundle suits you
There are four ways to buy it here, and the right one depends on how much of the rig you still need.
This bundle is base plus wheel. The MOZA R9 V3 + CRP2 Pedals Bundle adds the CRP2 load cell pedals alongside the ESX wheel. The MOZA R9 V3 + SRP2 Pedals Bundle does the same with the hybrid load cell set at a lower entry point. The MOZA R9 V3 Trucking Bundle is the most complete of the four: it swaps the racing rim for the TSW truck wheel and adds CRP2 pedals with the clutch and full length throttle plate, the truck wheel clamp and the multi-function stalks, for American or Euro Truck Simulator.
Setting up your bundle
The base and wheel arrive matched, so there is no pairing to work out. Connect the base to your PC, install MOZA Pit House, and run the calibration once.
Pit House is also where you set force feedback strength, tune damping and friction, adjust steering angle per car and save the result as a profile. Firmware updates are applied through the same software.

What is included in this bundle?
The R9 V3 direct drive wheelbase and one MOZA racing wheel, which you select above. The standard price includes the ESX wheel. Pedals and a mount are not included.
Does this bundle work on Xbox?
Yes, as supplied. The standard ESX wheel is officially licensed for Xbox, and pairing it with the base makes the bundle Xbox and PC compatible. The other wheels in the range are PC only, so choose the ESX if you race on console.
Which wheel should I choose?
Round GT rims suit touring, GT and rally driving. Formula rims suit open wheelers and put more controls in reach. Higher tier wheels add carbon construction, more encoders and in some cases a display. Every one of them fits the same base through the MOZA quick release.
Can I change the wheel later?
Yes. The quick release means swapping rims takes seconds and needs no tools. Adding a second wheel later is a common upgrade path.
Do I need pedals as well?
Yes, if you do not already own a set. This bundle does not include them. The CRP2 pedal bundle and SRP2 pedal bundle include a set and cost less than buying pedals separately afterwards.
Is the bundle cheaper than buying the parts separately?
Yes. The wheel is discounted against its standalone price when bought as part of the bundle.
What do I need to mount it?
Four bottom bolts into a rig, or an optional side bracket. A table clamp is available for desk setups, though a rigid cockpit will always give you more of what the base can do.
How hard is the setup?

How long is the warranty?
MOZA covers the wheelbase for 24 months and the power supply for 12 months. Gamer Gear Direct handles warranty support locally, and your rights under Australian Consumer Law apply in addition.
