Description
Keep the vibration in the rig
A set of six heavy duty isolation feet that go between your cockpit and the floor. They do two jobs at once: they stop vibration escaping into the building, and they stop the floor absorbing feedback you paid for.
Each foot uses a rubber and spring system rated to 100kg, so a set of six carries a combined 600kg. That covers a fully loaded tube chassis with a heavy driver in it.

Why isolation sharpens the feedback
A cockpit bolted straight to a hard floor sends a large part of any low frequency energy into the slab. You lose it, and the neighbours find it. Isolating the rig keeps that energy in the structure you are sitting in, which is where you want it.
It matters most if you run tactile hardware. Bass shakers, transducers and force feedback systems all put energy into the frame, and our haptic systems range is where that starts. A 100W bass shaker on an isolated rig reads noticeably more defined than the same shaker on a rig grounded to concrete.
Fitting them to your rig
On an extruded aluminium cockpit the feet secure through the profile channel, and the kit includes 16 T-nuts for exactly that. On a tube frame such as the TRX, TR8 Pro or RS6 the T-nuts are not needed and the feet mount directly.
They suit Trak Racer TRX, TR8 Pro, RS6, TR40, TR80, TR120, TR160, TR160S and A160, plus most 8020 and T-slot profile rigs from other brands. Our aluminium chassis rigs pages cover which of our cockpits are profile built.
Floors they work on
Carpet, timber, tile and concrete are all covered. Timber floors are where the difference is most obvious, because a suspended floor behaves like a large speaker cone and will happily broadcast your rig through the rest of the house.
They also work as a straight replacement for standard rig feet if the ones on your cockpit have worn or if you want a cleaner footprint. Our racing simulator cockpits pages list what ships as standard on each frame.

Do I need the T-nuts?
Only on extruded aluminium profile rigs, where the feet secure through the profile channel. Tube frames such as the TRX, TR8 and RS6 do not need them.
Will they fit a rig from another brand?
Most 8020 and T-slot extruded aluminium sim rigs are covered, along with the Trak Racer tube and profile range.
