If you would rather have one continuous piece and 1200mm is enough width, the 1200mm profile is a single bar. It is the same 80x40 section and the same VESA options, just shorter and unjointed.
Fifteen hundred millimetres is a lot of span, and it is there for a reason: a large centre display, or the width needed before side arms are added to build a triple.
The VESA extension brackets are included, which covers screens using patterns from 75 all the way to 400. Check the pattern on the back of your panel before ordering, since that is what decides whether the mount will reach.
This is the horizontal member. To use it you need something holding it up: either a cockpit to bolt it to, or the freestanding leg support kit if the stand is to be independent of the rig.
