Description
Take the screens off the cockpit
This kit puts legs under a horizontal monitor mount so it stands on its own instead of hanging off your cockpit. Built from 80mm by 40mm aluminium with rubber floor protectors, it is the part that turns a centre profile into a freestanding stand.
There is a real reason to do this beyond tidiness. A screen bolted to the rig moves with every force feedback input. A screen on its own legs does not.

Why decoupling the screens matters
A direct drive wheelbase sends a constant stream of vibration through the chassis. If the monitors are attached to that chassis, they shake with it, and a shaking screen is both distracting and hard on the eyes over a long stint.
Standing the screens on their own legs breaks that path. The rig can move as much as it likes and the image stays still. On a rig with a high torque direct drive wheelbases, it is one of the more noticeable quality of life changes you can make.
What it does and does not include
This listing covers the legs and the floor protectors. The horizontal monitor mount itself, the arms, and obviously the screens are all separate.
If you are building the whole thing from scratch, the 1500mm centre piece or the 1200mm profile are the horizontal members these legs support. Add side arms on top if you are going to triples.
Floor protectors are not an afterthought
A loaded monitor stand concentrates a lot of weight into a small number of contact points, and on timber or vinyl that leaves marks. The rubber protectors spread the load and stop the aluminium touching the floor at all.
They also add a small amount of grip, which matters because a freestanding stand carrying three screens is top heavy by nature. Position it, check it is stable, and then load the screens rather than the other way round.

Because a screen attached to the chassis moves with every force feedback input. Standing the screens separately keeps the image still while the rig moves.
