A single 1200mm length of 80mm by 40mm black anodised aluminium extrusion, supplied with a universal VESA mount and the hardware to fit it. It is the horizontal centre piece a monitor stand is built around, and it is also useful as spare or expansion stock for any 8mm T-slot build.
The bar is one continuous piece rather than segments joined together, which matters if you want the cleanest possible span behind a centre screen.
A single bar has no joints, which means no connector plates and nothing to work loose over time. On a span carrying a large screen, that is worth having.
The trade is length. If you need more than 1200mm, the 1500mm centre piece covers it, though that one is assembled from three sections joined with connector plates rather than being one continuous piece. Neither approach is wrong, but they are genuinely different parts and worth choosing deliberately.
Because it is standard 40 series profile with 8mm T-slots, this bar is compatible with Trak Racer hardware and with most industry standard aluminium profile systems. That makes it useful well beyond a monitor stand: as a replacement for a damaged section, as extra span on a rig, or as raw material for a bespoke mounting job.
The hardware mounts range covers the brackets, T-nuts and fasteners that go with it, and the wider sim racing monitor stands range covers the legs and arms that turn it into a complete stand.
The profile itself, one universal VESA mount, mounting hardware and T-slot fasteners. That is enough to hang a screen from the bar, but it is not a complete stand.
For a freestanding setup you also need legs. The leg support kit is what converts a horizontal mount into something that stands on its own rather than bolting to a cockpit.
"This is the part people order when they are building something rather than buying something. It is a good bar and a genuinely useful spare to have, but understand you are buying a component rather than a stand, and you will need legs or a cockpit to attach it to."
- Blake Sterling, Founder & CEO, Gamer Gear Direct
