Description
Fill the slot, add the colour
Every face of an aluminium profile rig carries an open channel, and every channel you are not using is collecting dust. This 2m strip of flexible rubber presses into the slot and fills it, sealing the channel along whatever length you cover.
It is also the easiest way to put a colour through a frame that is otherwise entirely black. Blue reads as a deliberate design choice against anodised aluminium, and running it along the top rails picks out the lines of the chassis without touching anything structural.

A working part as well as a cosmetic one
An empty slot is a dust channel. On a rig that lives in a carpeted room the channels fill up steadily, and the debris migrates out again whenever the frame is moved or vibrated. Filling the unused runs keeps the profile clean and makes wiping the rig down a two minute job rather than a cotton bud exercise.
Fit it after the rest of the build, since anywhere you later want to add a bracket or a cable clip will need the strip trimmed back. It suits the aluminium aluminium chassis rigs across the Trak Racer range, including the TR80, TR120, TR160, TRX and TR8 Pro. The same strip is available in red if blue is not your colour.

How much does one strip cover?
Each strip is 2m long. Measure the total run of slot you want to fill and order accordingly, allowing for the sections you will leave clear for brackets and mounts.
Can I cut it to length?
Yes. It trims with a sharp knife, so you can run it around corners and stop it cleanly where a bracket or mount begins.
