Two at the front, one at the rear, the layout many drivers choose
Three D-BOX G5 haptic actuators running from a single Haptic Bridge. Two sit at the front of the rig and one at the rear, which still gives you pitch and roll but concentrates the hardware where a driver feels the most: under braking and through the front axle.
Each actuator lifts 114kg through a 38.1mm stroke at up to 100mm per second, across a 0 to 100Hz frequency range. Three Trak Racer carbon steel brackets are supplied for mounting directly to an aluminium profile frame.
This is not the entry version of a four actuator system, it is a deliberate layout. Our motion simulators range covers the alternatives.

Why three actuators is a real choice
Three actuators still produce pitch and roll. What you give up against four is some of the independence at the rear, because a single rear actuator moves the whole back of the rig together rather than one side at a time.
What you gain is a simpler install, one less actuator to find space and power for, and the front of the car doing most of the talking. Braking, front grip and kerb strikes on the front axle are where a driver takes most of their cues, and all three of those live at the front.
One Haptic Bridge, one USB cable
The Haptic Bridge is a single compact controller that drives one to four actuators, so a three actuator system uses exactly the same unit as a four. It connects to the PC on one USB A to B cable and to the actuators on RJ45 patch leads.
Connect it directly to a USB port on the PC rather than through a hub. If you later want a fourth actuator, the bridge already has the port for it.
HaptiSync Center and Adaptive Gaming
D-BOX HaptiSync Center is the current software suite, replacing the older Motion Core. More than 90 titles are coded by D-BOX so the actuators move from the game's own telemetry, which is the most accurate way the system can run.
Adaptive Gaming covers everything else. It generates motion without any telemetry from the game using more than 300 effects, so a title with no native D-BOX support still moves the rig.
Profile frames and tube frames
The three Trak Racer carbon steel brackets supplied here bolt the actuators straight to an aluminium profile rig, with the M6 and M8 hardware included.
A tube chassis such as the Alpine Racing TRX cannot take brackets directly and needs a motion platform underneath instead. The TR Move Motion Platform Base for 3 actuators is the matching part, and our motion simulator packages cover the complete builds.
Adding a fourth later
The Haptic Bridge already drives up to four actuators, so going from three to four is a matter of adding hardware rather than replacing the controller. A single D-BOX G5 haptic actuator and a bracket is all it takes on a profile rig.
If you would rather start at four, the D-BOX G5 4250i is the same system with an actuator at each corner.

Frequently asked questions
What do I lose compared to four actuators?
Independent movement at the rear. A single rear actuator lifts the whole back of the rig together, where four give you roll at both ends. Pitch and roll are both still there.
Can I upgrade to four later?
Yes. The Haptic Bridge supplied here already drives up to four actuators, so it is a matter of adding a fourth actuator and bracket rather than replacing the controller.
What weight will it carry?
Each actuator is rated to 114kg, so three carry 342kg between them. The rating is per actuator and D-BOX stress even weight distribution, because an unbalanced rig can overload one of them.
Will it work with my rig?
The supplied brackets are for aluminium profile frames. A tube chassis needs a motion platform base instead, which is a separate purchase.
Is it PC only?
Yes. D-BOX G5 and HaptiSync Center are built for Windows PC, with no console support.
How much power does it draw?
A three actuator system draws 420W average at 230V, with a 740VA rating and 3.2A peak current. Each actuator has a voltage switch set for Australian mains.

This package contains hardware from two manufacturers, and each is covered by its own warranty. The D-BOX actuators and Haptic Bridge carry D-BOX's 2-year limited manufacturer warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.
The Trak Racer steel brackets and mounting hardware carry a 5-year limited manufacturer warranty covering materials and manufacturing under standard residential use, and we will point you to the right place if you ever need to claim on either.
Normal wear and tear sits outside the warranty. Every product is 100% genuine, sourced through authorised distribution, and our Australian simulation team is only a call or email away.
