What Comes in a Bundle

Most kits here bring together three parts: the wheelbase that generates force feedback, the wheel you hold, and a pedal set. Buying them together means the mounting, connectors and firmware are already matched.

You can still build the same setup piece by piece from Direct Drive Wheelbases, Sim Racing Wheels and Sim Racing Pedals. The bundle simply removes the guesswork about what fits what.

Choosing the Wheelbase in the Kit

The wheelbase decides how the setup feels, so start there. Entry bundles suit a desk or a light stand and give you real force feedback without a heavy frame. Mid range kits add strength and finer detail, which shows up most under braking and over kerbs.

High torque bundles need a rigid mount to be worth it. If you are heading that way, budget for the frame at the same time rather than after.

Wheel and Hub Sets Without Pedals

Some bundles pair a rim with the hub it mounts to, and leave pedals out. These suit anyone who already runs a base and wants a second rim for a different car, or a first rim for a hub they own.

Check the mounting pattern before ordering, since each brand runs its own. Adapters are in Quick Releases.

Console and PC Bundles

Console support comes from the wheelbase, not the wheel, so check the base is licensed for your machine. Kits listed for a console will say so on the product page, and many run on PC as well.

Platform specific options are grouped in PlayStation Steering Wheels and Xbox Steering Wheels.

Adding to a Bundle Later

A bundle covers steering and braking. Most drivers add to it over time: Sim Racing Shifters for older cars and rally, Sim Racing Handbrakes for drift and handbrake turns.

If you would rather buy the frame, seat and controls in one go, that is a different product entirely and lives in Racing Simulator Packages.

What is included in a sim racing wheel and pedal bundle?

Most kits include a wheelbase, a wheel and a pedal set. Some pair a wheel with a hub and no pedals. Each product page lists exactly what is in the box.

Is a bundle cheaper than buying the parts separately?

Bundles are priced as a package, and the bigger benefit is that the parts are matched, so you are not checking mounting patterns and connectors yourself.

Do I need a cockpit to use one?

Entry kits clamp to a desk. Stronger wheelbases need a rigid frame to be worth the torque, so plan the mount alongside the kit.

Will a bundle work on PlayStation or Xbox?

That depends on the wheelbase, not the wheel. Check the base is licensed for your console, and note many console kits also run on PC.

Can I upgrade one part of a bundle later?

Yes. Wheels, pedals and bases are separate components, so you can change one and keep the rest, as long as you stay inside the same mounting ecosystem or use an adapter.

Do bundles come with a shifter or handbrake?

Not usually. Those are sold separately so you can pick the type that suits the cars you drive.
