Description

A thick steel plate, ready drilled

The pre-drilled version of the TR One pedal mount, built around a thick carbon steel plate with the mounting holes already there. Bolt the pedals down and you are finished, with no measuring and no drilling.

Angle adjusts through a tool-free screw. It suits the TR200, TR160 and TR120 cockpits.

Key features

  • Thick carbon steel pedal plate
  • Pre-drilled mounting holes
  • Tool-free angle adjustment
  • Fits TR200, TR160 and TR120
  • Fast, decision-free installation
  • Compatible with the pedal slider kit

Why a thick steel plate

Pedal plates flex. A load cell brake can be pushed with well over fifty kilograms of force, and a thin plate under that load bows slightly, which turns a firm brake into a vague one.

Carbon steel at a serious thickness does not do that. It is heavier than an aluminium alternative and that is precisely the point, because mass and stiffness are what keep the pedal feel honest.

Pre-drilled or profile rails

The holes being already there is the whole argument for this version. Most mainstream pedal sets line up with them, the install is quick, and there are no decisions to get wrong.

If your pedals are unusual, or you want spacing the plate does not offer, the profile rail version lets you mount anywhere along a rail and adds a heel rest. Neither is better in general; they suit different pedal sets.

The slider kit only fits this one

Worth knowing before you choose: the pedal slider kit, which lets the whole pedal assembly move fore and aft, is only compatible with the pre-drilled plate. If a sliding pedal deck is in your plans, this is the version to buy.

Our racing simulator accessories range carries the slider kit and the footrests that go alongside it. A footrest is worth adding for your left foot if you are racing anything with an automatic gearbox. For the smaller S variant cockpits the dedicated TR80S heel plate covers the heel positioning job instead.

Our expert take

"Most people should buy this version. Pre-drilled fits the pedal sets most people own, it goes together in twenty minutes, and it is the one the slider kit works with. Go to the profile version only if your pedals genuinely do not line up."

Frequently asked questions

How is this different from the heel rest version?

This one uses a thick carbon steel plate with the mounting holes already drilled. The other uses aluminium profile rails for infinite positioning and includes a heel rest.

Which cockpits does it fit?

The TR200, TR160 and TR120.

Will my pedals line up with the holes?

Most mainstream pedal sets do. If yours are unusual, the profile rail version lets you mount anywhere along a rail instead.

Can I add a sliding pedal deck later?

Yes. The pedal slider kit is compatible with the pre-drilled plate, and only with the pre-drilled plate.
