Description
Left hand drive, left hand brake
A handed handbrake mount for the left side of the cockpit, designed for the TR8 Pro and the RS6. The bracket runs on a slider so the handbrake position can be set fore and aft once it is bolted on, and it is finished in matte black to match the frames.
Left and right are separate parts rather than one reversible bracket. If you want the handbrake on the other side of the seat, the right side mount is the one to order.

Which side, and why it matters
Most drivers put the handbrake on the opposite side to the shifter, so the two hands are not competing for the same space. In a right hand shifter layout that puts the handbrake on the left, which is this part.
Rally and drift drivers often want it closer than a circuit racer would, which is what the slider is for. Set the shifter first, then position the handbrake where your left hand falls without reaching across your body.
Handbrake compatibility
The mount supports a wide range of handbrake units across the major sim racing brands. Because handbrake footprints vary, check the bolt pattern on yours against the mount before you commit to a position on the frame.
It is a load bearing part in a way a shifter mount is not. A hydraulic handbrake pulled hard puts real force through the bracket, so tighten it properly and check the fixings after the first few sessions. The mount clamps to the cockpit rather than to a peripheral arm, so it does not need one of the 240mm side supports to work. Our racing simulator accessories range covers those separately.
