Turns the TR5 into a flight cockpit
The TR5 is sold as a racing cockpit, but the frame was designed with flying in mind too. This pair of mounts is the part that makes that real: two adjustable arms that attach directly to the TR5's side arms and carry a stick, a throttle or a yoke.
Because they bolt to the side arms rather than clamping to a desk edge, the controls sit in a rigid, vibration free position and stay there through a long session.

Four layouts, one pair of mounts
Four configurations work here: left and right joystick or HOTAS, joystick plus throttle quadrant, yoke plus throttle quadrant, and throttle plus a collective style layout depending on the peripheral. That covers airliners, general aviation, helicopters and combat jets between them.
Which one you run is a matter of what you fly. A yoke and quadrant suits a Cessna or an airliner, a stick and throttle suits a fast jet, and a collective on the left is how a helicopter setup wants to sit.
Built for one cockpit
These are cut for the Trak Racer TR5 and attach to its cockpit side arms. That is a narrower fitment than a universal clamp, and it is the reason the mounting is rigid rather than merely adequate.
If you do not own the cockpit yet, the TR5 Racing Simulator is the frame these are built around, and it arrives with a seat already fitted. For an FS3 wheel stand instead, the FS3 version of these mounts is the one to look at.
Which controls they take
Nine brands are named: Thrustmaster, Logitech, Honeycomb Aeronautical, Virpil, VKB, Winwing, VirtualFly, Hori and Turtle Beach. In practice that is the Thrustmaster Warthog and Airbus ranges, Logitech's Saitek X52 and X56, the Honeycomb Alpha yoke and Bravo quadrant, the VKB Gunfighter III, Virpil's MongoosT-50, Winwing's J2 and T2 bases and VirtualFly's TQ quadrants.
They suit Microsoft Flight Simulator, X-Plane, Prepar3D and DCS World equally, because the mount does not care what the software is. Will it work with DCS or Microsoft Flight Simulator?
