Description
The entry point that does not feel like one
A wheel stand is where most sim racers start, and the FS3 has been the one people start on since 2017. The V2 is the current revision, with a strengthened pedal plate, a reinforced shifter mount and a wheel mount that slides fore and aft.
It weighs nearly 18kg in high-grade steel, which is the number that separates a stand you can drive against from one that walks across the floor under braking. It also folds flat in seconds.

Built around a chair you already have
At 650mm wide the FS3 gives you a firm base to brace against, and it is designed to be used with an office or gaming chair rather than a fixed seat. That keeps the cost and the footprint down, and it is why the stand suits a room that has to do other things during the week.
Rubber feet keep it safe on hardwood, and the whole frame collapses for storage. Assembly runs around an hour.
What it will and will not take
The FS3 V2 is rated for wheelbases up to 8nm, which covers the belt and gear driven wheels most people begin on and reaches into entry level direct drive: Logitech G29, G920, G923 and G PRO, Thrustmaster T300 and TX, and Fanatec CSL and GT DD Pro among a long list. The pedal plate is rated to 100kg of braking force.
If you are running a high torque direct drive base, this is not the frame for it. An optional front mount widens what the stand accepts, but a full aluminium cockpit is the honest answer at that point. Our racing simulator cockpits pages cover where to go next.
Adjustment where it counts
The wheel mount adjusts for angle and height and slides for distance. The pedal mount is angle adjustable with an inclined position, and it slides too. The gear shifter mount moves left, right, forward and back, so a shifter sits where your hand falls rather than where the frame decided.
For faster pedal changes between drivers, the quick-adjust pedal slider bolts to the existing pedal plate and moves the whole set without tools. Our racing simulator accessories range covers the rest of the add-ons for this stand.
