Description

Rail and brackets only, and that is the point

If more than one person drives your rig, the pedals are the thing that has to move. This is a heavy duty steel rail with a quick-adjust handle that slides the whole pedal assembly forward and back in seconds, with no tools and no undoing bolts.

Read this part before you order: the pedal plate and the pedal bracket side plates are not included. This is the slider mechanism, two mounting brackets and the hardware to attach it to a pedal plate you already have.

Trak Racer quick-adjust pedal slider system

Key features

  • Pedal plate and side brackets not included
  • Tool-free front to back adjustment
  • Dual locking slider with handle bar
  • 2 heavy-duty steel brackets supplied
  • Fits FS3, RS6 and TR8 Pro cockpits
  • Simple bolt-on installation

What is actually in the box

The slider rail assembly, the quick-adjust handle bar, two mounting brackets, the complete mounting hardware kit and the installation fasteners. That is the full list.

What is not in the box is the pedal mounting plate and the pedal bracket side plates. Those come with the cockpit, and this system is designed to bolt onto the ones you already own. If your rig did not come with a pedal plate, you will need one before this is useful.

Which cockpits it fits

This fits three tube frame cockpits: the FS3, the RS6 and the TR8 Pro. If your rig is not one of those three, check with us before ordering rather than assuming, because the bracket spacing is specific.

There is a separate slider designed for extruded aluminium profile cockpits, which is a different part with different mounting. Our racing simulator cockpits pages set out which of our cockpits are tube framed and which are profile built.

Why a slider rather than bolts

A shared rig loses a surprising amount of time to pedal position. Two drivers of different heights means undoing four bolts, sliding a plate, guessing, and doing it again. A locking rail with a handle turns that into a few seconds, which is the difference between people actually setting the pedals correctly and just putting up with them.

It matters most in commercial and coaching setups, esports environments and families sharing one rig. The steel construction keeps the pedals stable under heavy braking rather than introducing a new source of movement. The FS3 V2 Wheel Stand is one of the three frames it bolts to, and our hardware mounts range covers the rest of the bracketry. Our racing simulator accessories pages cover the pedal plates and brackets this bolts onto.

Our expert take

"The single most common reason a rig feels wrong is that the pedals are in the position the last driver left them in. If two of you drive, this pays for itself in the first week, because the alternative is that somebody stops bothering to adjust and just races badly."
