Take the rock out of the rig
A sim rig that rocks is a sim rig you fight. On an uneven floor one corner lifts under braking, the whole chassis knocks against the boards, and every force feedback spike gets transmitted into the room instead of into your hands. The Trak Racer Adjustable Levelling Legs replace that with four independently adjustable feet that let you dial each corner until the frame sits dead flat.
Each leg is a rubber foot on a threaded M10 rod running through its own mounting plate, so adjustment is a matter of turning the foot rather than shimming the frame with cardboard. Between them the set is rated to 320kg, which is 80kg per foot, comfortably inside what a loaded cockpit weighs. They suit the aluminium chassis rigs that Trak Racer builds on its 8mm slot extrusion.

Levelling is not just about wobble
An unlevel chassis twists slightly under load. On an aluminium profile rig that twist is small, but it is enough to change how the wheel deck and pedal deck sit relative to each other over a long stint, and it is enough to make a monitor stand attached to the same frame drift out of true.
Getting all four corners planted also stops the knocking noise that carpet and timber floors amplify. If you race at night in a shared house, this is often the single change that makes the difference between tolerated and complained about.
Protecting the floor underneath
The rubber feet spread the load and keep bare aluminium off timber. A cockpit concentrates its weight into a handful of contact points, and on a soft floor those points leave marks. The feet widen the footprint at each corner so the pressure is spread rather than focused.
They also add a small amount of isolation. They will not do the job of a purpose built decoupling system if you are running haptic systems, but they take the edge off the vibration that would otherwise pass straight into the floorboards.
Fitting them to the chassis
Each leg mounts through its own plate using the supplied M8 screws and T-nuts, which slide into the 8mm slot on the underside of the frame. Eight screws and eight T-nuts are included, two per leg, so nothing needs to be sourced separately.
Fit all four before adjusting any of them, then work around the rig levelling opposite corners in pairs. If you are also fitting a sim floor or a pedal deck, level the chassis first so those parts are set against a frame that is already true.

Frequently asked questions
How much weight will they take?
The set is rated to 320kg in total, which works out at 80kg per foot. That covers a fully loaded aluminium cockpit with a seat, a direct drive wheelbase, pedals and a mounted monitor.
Do they fit my rig?
They mount into 8mm slot aluminium extrusion using the supplied T-nuts, which is the profile Trak Racer uses across its aluminium cockpit range. They are not suitable for tubular steel rigs, which have no slot to mount into.
Will they mark a timber floor?
The feet are rubber and spread the load across a wider contact patch than bare frame ends, which is specifically to avoid marking. On very soft timber a mat underneath is still sensible.
Can I use them to raise the rig?
They provide levelling adjustment rather than a substantial lift. Use them to take the rock out of an uneven floor, not to significantly change the ride height of the cockpit.
