Sound placed around the driver
Five laser cut steel brackets that position a speaker set around the Alpine Racing TRX cockpit rather than leaving them on a desk behind you. Surround audio only works if the speakers are where the mix expects them to be, and a rig is a very different shape to a lounge room.
The brackets mount to the TRX frame and are designed for speakers with a wall mount fitting on the back, which covers most of the common desktop and satellite sets including Logitech.

Why speaker position matters on a rig
A surround mix places sound relative to your head. In a lounge room the speakers stay put and so does the sofa. On a sim rig your head is in a fixed position too, but it is a long way from where desk speakers usually sit, and the result is a soundstage that never quite locks in.
Mounting the speakers to the frame puts them at a known distance and angle from the driver and keeps them there. It also means the whole arrangement moves as one when the rig is repositioned, so you set it up once.
What will actually mount
The brackets are made for speakers with a wall mount fitting moulded or fixed into the back, which is common across desktop and satellite sets. Logitech speakers are specifically named as compatible.
If your speakers have no mounting point at all, double sided tape is the practical workaround, though it limits how heavy a speaker you can sensibly hang. Check the weight and the back of the cabinet before ordering.
Pairing it with haptics
Speakers handle direction and detail. They do not handle the low frequency you feel through the seat, and turning them up to try is how you end up with a complaint from the next room.
If you want the physical side of the experience, that is a job for a bass shaker rather than more speaker volume. Our racing simulator accessories range covers both, and the two work considerably better together than either does alone. The brackets suit the tube framed TRX only, and the rest of the cockpit hardware for that chassis, including the TRX wheel mount plate, follows the same mounting principle.
