How to Choose the Right MOZA Trucking Bundle
|

MOZA offers four dedicated trucking bundles, each built around the same 400mm truck steering wheel but separated by wheelbase torque, pedal generation, and the inclusion of stalks. The right one depends on how seriously you sim, what games you play, and how far you plan to take your setup. This guide walks through the differences between all four so you can pick the one that actually fits.
| Bundle | Wheelbase | Torque | Pedals | Stalks |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| MOZA Trucking Bundle | R5 | 5.5Nm | SR-P Lite | No |
| MOZA R5 Pro Trucking Bundle | R5 Pro | 6Nm | SRP Lite 2 | No |
| MOZA R9 V3 Trucking Bundle | R9 V3 | 9Nm | CRP2 | Yes |
| MOZA R12 V2 Trucking Bundle | R12 V2 | 12Nm | CRP2 | Yes |
Truck simulator steering wheels are significantly larger than racing wheels. A standard sim racing wheel runs 270 to 300mm in diameter. The TSW that ships with every MOZA trucking bundle is 400mm, which is closer to the diameter of a real truck or bus steering wheel. That difference in size changes how the whole setup feels: the leverage on your hands is different, the steering ratio through the game responds differently, and a direct drive wheelbase with enough torque to resist that larger wheel is what makes the physics feel convincing rather than plastic.
MOZA also includes multi-function stalks with the two upper-tier bundles. In Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator, those stalks map to indicators, wipers, cruise control, and other controls you would operate by hand in a real cab. They are a quality-of-life addition that becomes more relevant the more immersive your setup is.
The MOZA Trucking Bundle and the MOZA R5 Pro Trucking Bundle are the two entry points. Both include the TSW 400mm wheel and share the same general form factor. The practical differences come down to two things: 0.5Nm of additional torque in the R5 Pro, and the pedal generation that ships with each.
The standard bundle pairs the R5 wheelbase (5.5Nm) with the SR-P Lite pedals. These are a solid three-pedal set for someone starting out, with a spring-loaded brake that gives reasonable resistance without a load cell. The R5 Pro bundle steps the wheelbase up to 6Nm and includes the SRP Lite 2 pedals, which is an updated generation with a revised pedal face design and improved build quality over the original SR-P Lite.
The torque difference between 5.5Nm and 6Nm is real but subtle on the road. At highway speed in ETS2 or ATS, you are not fighting a heavy wheel for most of your drive. Where you notice the extra torque most is in low-speed turns, tight docking manoeuvres, and when the simulation sends a strong road event through the force feedback. If you are going to do a lot of off-road or heavy-load driving, the small step up is worthwhile. If you are mostly motorway runs, the R5 at 5.5Nm is more than sufficient.
The more meaningful upgrade in the R5 Pro bundle is the pedal generation. The SRP Lite 2 is a newer unit, and that matters when you consider that pedals are what you interact with most in a long drive. If the budget is close between the two, we lean toward the R5 Pro bundle for most buyers, primarily for the improved pedal set rather than the wheelbase torque step.
The MOZA R9 V3 Trucking Bundle and the MOZA R12 V2 Trucking Bundle represent a significant step up from the entry tier. Two things change at once: both bundles include the CRP2 load-cell pedals and the multi-function stalks, neither of which are available in the entry bundles.
The CRP2 is a meaningful upgrade over the SR-P Lite and SRP Lite 2. Rather than measuring how far you push the pedal, a load cell measures how hard you push. That means brake pressure translates directly to braking force in the simulation, which is how a real truck brake works. For trucking specifically, this matters when you are managing weight transfer on a downhill with a heavy load, or feathering the brakes through a junction. The muscle memory you build with load-cell braking is more transferable to real driving than a spring-loaded brake.
The stalks attach to the steering column and map to the secondary controls in ETS2 and ATS. Indicators, wipers, lights, engine brake, cruise control. If you have spent time hunting for keyboard shortcuts for these mid-drive, stalks change how immersive the experience feels.
Between the R9 V3 (9Nm) and the R12 V2 (12Nm), the decision is about how much torque you want to feel. Both are well above what the entry bundles offer, and both will give you a physically demanding driving experience at the appropriate in-game settings. The R12 V2 delivers the heavier, more resistant feel, which works well if you prefer high force feedback intensity or you are on a larger rig where you can push against the wheel without it moving your setup. The R9 V3 is more than capable for most drivers and is the natural choice if you want strong force feedback without the full physical commitment of the R12 V2.
New to truck sim, keeping the budget tight: The MOZA Trucking Bundle (R5 + SR-P Lite) gets you into direct drive trucking with a proper 400mm wheel. It is a genuine step up from a gaming wheel.
Entry level but want the better pedal set: The MOZA R5 Pro Trucking Bundle (R5 Pro + SRP Lite 2) is the entry bundle most of our team would choose, for the updated pedal generation.
Serious truck simmer who wants load-cell braking and stalks: The MOZA R9 V3 Trucking Bundle (9Nm + CRP2 + stalks) is where the experience takes a clear step up. The combination of load-cell braking and column-mounted stalks is hard to go back from.
Maximum torque and the complete package: The MOZA R12 V2 Trucking Bundle (12Nm + CRP2 + stalks) is for drivers who want the heaviest, most physically demanding setup MOZA offers in a trucking configuration.
Every MOZA trucking bundle ships with the MOZA TSW Truck Wheel, but the TSW is also sold separately. If you already have a compatible MOZA wheelbase and want to add truck sim to your rotation, the TSW can be added without buying a full bundle.
A MOZA Truck Wheel Clamp is also available if your cockpit or desk setup needs a specific mounting solution for the larger 400mm rim diameter. Worth checking whether your current mount can accommodate that size before your bundle arrives.
All MOZA products sold through Gamer Gear Direct carry Australian warranty. MOZA wheelbases are covered for 24 months. Steering wheels carry a 12-month warranty. Pedals carry a 12-month warranty. Table clamps are not covered under the product warranty.
All four MOZA trucking bundles are stocked at our Dandenong South showroom, where you can test them before you commit. Our team at Gamer Gear Direct has run every one of these setups through ETS2 and ATS, and we are happy to walk you through the differences in person if the table above leaves you on the fence.
