Three TR5 upgrades in one kit
The TR5 is a foldable cockpit, which means it gets moved. Moving it is where the first of these three accessories earns its place. The kit adds a pair of rear caster wheels so the rig tips and rolls instead of being dragged, a drink holder so your glass is not balanced on the floor beside the pedals, and a headphone hook so your headset has somewhere to live between sessions.
None of the three is complicated, and that is rather the point. They are the parts you find yourself wanting after a fortnight of ownership, bundled together with the hardware to fit them rather than sold separately. Everything here is specific to the TR5 mounting points, so it goes on without improvisation. The TR5 sits at the compact end of our racing simulator cockpits, and this kit is what finishes it off.

The casters do the heavy lifting
Two wheels on the rear of the frame turn a two person lift into a one person job. You lift the front, the back rolls, and the rig goes through a doorway or into a corner without anyone scraping a floor. On a cockpit designed to fold away between sessions this changes how often you actually bother folding it away.
Only the rear corners get wheels, which is deliberate. A rig on four casters rolls when you brake, and no amount of wheel locking fully solves that. Two at the back gives you the mobility without the movement under load.
Somewhere for the drink and the headset
The drink holder mounts to the frame within reach of the seat, which sounds trivial until you have knocked a glass over near a wheelbase. Keeping liquid off the floor and away from the pedal area is worth the five minutes it takes to fit.
The headphone hook does the same job for a headset. Hanging it on the frame rather than draping it over the wheel means the cable is not looped around the wheelbase when you sit down, and the earcups are not resting on the pedals.
Fitting the kit
All the mounting hardware for the three accessories is supplied, and each part attaches to existing points on the TR5 frame. There is no drilling and no modification to the cockpit.
If you are still building out the TR5, it is worth looking at the wider racing simulator accessories catalogue at the same time, since fitting several parts in one session saves taking the rig apart twice. Cable management is the usual companion job, and a set of cable clips will tidy the headset and pedal leads while you have the tools out.

Does this fit any Trak Racer cockpit?
No. The kit is designed around the TR5 and its mounting points. It is not intended for the aluminium profile cockpits, which use a different mounting system based on 8mm slot extrusion.
Do the casters lock?
The kit fits two casters at the rear of the frame so the cockpit tips back and rolls. Because only the rear corners are on wheels, the front of the rig stays planted on the floor while you are driving.
Is any drilling needed?
No. Every part in the kit mounts to existing points on the TR5 using the supplied hardware.
Can I buy the parts separately?
