WORTH THE INVESTMENT
I was debating between the TR120 and the TR160 when first deciding to get a rig. After looking at multiple rigs, went ahead and ordered the TR120 first but after seeing the price difference, emailed customer support and they were quick to respond and upgrade me to the TR160. Waited a couple weeks since the rig was on pre ordered and finally received it last week.
Printed out the instructions and the install took a couple days when taking my time. The directions were good to follow. After the install and tweaking the TR one for the base, started to test it out. This rig is very solid and will not twist the chassis. I have the Fanatec DD1 and the rig will not budge from the force feedback. It is a very tight fit for the DD1 though with the TR one fanatec option so that's one thing to be careful of if anyone is thinking about the option. Make sure the rig is leveled as it does with a small level tool.
I also chose the aluminum profile pedal mount as I have the simagic P2000 pedals and the profile is very sturdy. The heel plate is made of some thick aluminum so it will not twist. The one only downside is that the profile is flat and does not have a heel rest but it is not a huge concern. The ability to adjust the pedals to have them more spread apart and makes accidentally hitting another pedal very slim. Can easily set it up for the heel toe method.
Overall this is very solid rig and well worth the extra money over the TR120. I would recommend this to anyone looking to get into sim racing and want to future proof their rig. Shipping was very quick as it only took a couple days, and customer support will help you with any questions or issues.
PRICEY, BUT SOLID
Extremely solid piece of equipment. Expect to take a couple working days to get everything built! I can now use my Fanatec DD2 with at least 70% force and there is very little to no play. Pedal plate is also very solid with no noticeable flex. My only complaint is that the bags containing the screws aren't super well labeled on some of the steps, so you have to make sure you're using the correct length.
