A deck instead of a machined plate
Every other kit in the V3 range hangs a wheelbase off a plate machined for one brand. This one gives you a deck instead, and the wheelbase bolts down onto it from above. That single change is what makes it the broadest fitting mount Trak Racer builds.
Fanatec, MOZA, Asetek, Simagic, Logitech G, Thrustmaster, CAMMUS and more all bolt to a deck, as do flight yokes. If your wheelbase is not on any front mount list, or you expect to change brands, this is the kit that does not care. It fits the aluminium chassis rigs across the TR200, TRA, TR160, TR120, TR80S, TR40S and TRK frames.
Key features
- Universal wheel deck rather than a brand plate
- Base-mounted rather than front-mounted
- Complete V3 base kit included
- 120x40mm extrusion channel, 580mm mount width
- Vertical or horizontal extrusion orientation
- Also suits flight yokes
Who the deck is for
Three groups. Owners of a wheelbase no front plate is made for, which covers a lot of Logitech, Thrustmaster and CAMMUS hardware. Owners who expect to upgrade and do not want to buy a new plate when they do. And anyone mounting a flight yoke, which needs a flat surface rather than a wheelbase bolt pattern.
A handful of high torque bases still need a bracket on top of the deck. The Simucube, VNM, VRS, Immsource, Leo Bodnar, Sim-Lab and SimXperience families fall into that group, and some Thrustmaster models need an adapter. For those, the front mount kit is usually the simpler path.
Deck mounting versus front mounting
A deck sits the wheelbase on top of a plate, so the base is higher and the space directly beneath it is taken. A front mount hangs it off a face, keeping that space clear. If you run a formula position with your legs under the wheel, front mounting usually wins. If you sit in a GT position and want flexibility, the deck is the better buy.
The deck is also more forgiving of imperfect bolt patterns, since you are working with slots rather than a machined pattern for one housing.
Orientation and adjustment
The 2-Way name refers to how the 120x40mm extrusion is oriented, not to where the wheelbase sits. Run it vertically and you free up leg and knee clearance for a formula seating position. Turn it horizontally and you gain a broad flat span for a dashboard, a button box or a small display.
If you want the deck on its own because you already run a TR One V3 base kit, the universal wheel deck is sold separately. This listing is the complete kit with the base structure included.
Our expert take
"The universal deck is the sensible default if you are not sure what you will be running in two years. Front mounts are cleaner and free up leg room, but they lock you to a bolt pattern. A deck follows you through three wheelbase upgrades without complaint, and that flexibility is worth more than most people expect when they buy their first rig."

Frequently asked questions
Which wheelbases fit the deck?
The list is broad and covers Fanatec, MOZA, Asetek, Simagic, Logitech G, Thrustmaster, CAMMUS and more, plus flight yokes. Some Simucube, VNM, VRS, Immsource, Leo Bodnar, Sim-Lab and SimXperience bases need an additional bracket, and some Thrustmaster models need an adapter.
Should I choose a deck or a front mount?
Front mounting keeps the space under the wheel clear, which suits a formula seating position. A deck is more flexible and follows you through a wheelbase upgrade. Both are rigid enough for serious use.
Is the base kit included?
Yes. Base structure and universal wheel deck together in one kit.
Can I mount a flight yoke on it?
Yes. The deck gives a flat mounting surface, which is what a yoke needs. A front plate machined for a wheelbase bolt pattern will not take one.
