Trak Racer Premium Neoprene Sim Rig Floor Mat
A rig that creeps across the floor under braking is a rig you are constantly nudging back into place. On floorboards and tiles it is worse, and on a hard floor a heavy cockpit will also mark whatever it is standing on.
This is a neoprene mat cut to 1800 by 900mm, which is sized to sit under a full cockpit rather than just under the pedals. Neoprene grips a hard floor, absorbs some of the noise the rig transmits into it, and protects the surface underneath.
The edges are fully embroidered with the Trak Racer logo, which is the difference between a mat and a piece of rubber. It sits with the rest of the racing simulator accessories we carry.

Stops the rig walking
Every hard braking input pushes a cockpit backwards, and on a smooth floor that adds up over a session. Neoprene has genuine grip against timber, tile and polished concrete, which is where the problem is worst.
It also works the other way. A heavy rig with steel feet marks a wooden floor quickly, and a caster kit will find every soft spot in a floating board. The mat takes that wear instead.
Trak Racer describe the length as suiting all their rigs, and at 1800mm it will sit under a full cockpit including the pedal deck and the seat base rather than just the front half.
Sound as well as movement
The part people do not expect is the noise. A rig transmits pedal impacts and wheelbase vibration straight into the floor, and in an apartment or on a second storey that travels further than you would like.
Neoprene will not soundproof a room, but it breaks the direct hard contact between the frame and the floor, which takes the sharpest edge off the thud of a load cell brake.

Will it stop my rig sliding?
That is what it is for. Neoprene grips hard floors including timber, tile and polished concrete, which is where a cockpit creeps most under braking.
Does it work on carpet?
Yes. On carpet the benefit is protection and a defined footprint rather than grip, since carpet already holds a rig reasonably well.
What is the difference to the RGB mat?
The same 1800 x 900mm footprint, but the RGB version has an illuminated optic fibre edge. This one is plain neoprene with embroidered logo edges.
