Earlier generations of motion hardware needed a controller box per pair of actuators. The G5 system uses one Haptic Bridge unit for a complete two, three or four actuator setup, which means one box under the rig instead of several and one set of cables to route.
It arrives with current software on board and runs D-BOX HaptiSync Center on the PC side, where you pick titles, set intensity and build your own effect profiles. D-BOX publishes the software as a free download.
