Trak Racer Left/Right HOTAS Flight Sim Mount Set for TRX
The Alpine Racing TRX is a tube-frame cockpit, which is exactly why a universal extrusion mount will not help you. There is no T-slot to clamp into and nothing to slide along, so flight controls need a mount drawn around the chassis itself.
This is that mount. A left and right pair that fixes directly to the sides of the TRX with no adapters, no additional profile and no drilling, using the fixing points the cockpit already has.
Both sides adjust for position, so a stick and throttle end up where your hands sit rather than where the bracket allows. It sits with the rest of the hardware mounts.
Key features
- Mounts directly to the TRX with no adapters
- Left and right mounts supplied as a pair
- Fully adjustable position on both mounts
- Uses the cockpit's existing fixing points
- Solid attachment brackets
- Matte black paint finish
- Supports the major HOTAS brands
- No additional profile supports required
Built for the TRX, not adapted to it
A universal mount has to assume a rail. The TRX has none, so the choice on a tube-frame cockpit is either a mount designed for the chassis or a compromise involving clamps and hope.
This one bolts to the left and right sides of the TRX directly. No adapters, and none of the supplementary profile supports that an extrusion installation asks for, because the TRX chassis carries the load as it stands.
It also fits the Porsche 91XTR and the Carbon Fibre TRX, which share the same frame architecture.
Two hands, set independently
The set is a pair for a reason. Stick and throttle positions are set relative to each other rather than to the rig, and matching two mounts of different designs never produces a symmetrical setup.
Both sides adjust for position, so centre stick with left throttle, or right stick with left throttle, are equally workable. On a cockpit that also races, that flexibility is what makes the changeover quick.
Solid brackets matter most under a throttle. A throttle is pushed against rather than pulled, and any give in the mount reads as a vague detent.
What it holds
Trak Racer list support across Thrustmaster across the HOTAS Warthog, T.Flight HOTAS One and 4, T.16000M and FCS, the TCA Quadrant, Officer and Sidestick Airbus editions, the TWCS throttle and the T.Flight Stick X; Logitech and Saitek including the X52, X52 Professional and X56, the Throttle Quadrant and the Extreme 3D Pro; Honeycomb Alpha and Bravo; Virpil VPC MongoosT-50; VKB Gunfighter III; Winwing GRIP+ J2, F18 and T2 bases; Hori; VirtualFly TQ neo, TQ6 PLUS and TQ3 PLUS; and the Turtle Beach VelocityOne Flight.
The Honeycomb Bravo attaches using a clamp, and the Turtle Beach VelocityOne Flight fits onto the Trak Racer wheel and yoke mounts rather than bolting directly to these brackets.
If your stick or throttle is not named, send us the model and we will check it. The rest of the flight hardware is in the flight simulator controls, and the cockpits themselves in the flight simulator cockpits.
Our expert take
"If you own a TRX, this is simply the mount. The universal TR-One set is the better-known product and it is the wrong one for you, because there is no 8mm T-slot anywhere on a tube frame to clamp it to."
"The upside of the tube frame is that you do not need the extra profile supports an extrusion rig wants for flight controls. The TRX chassis takes the outboard load as it comes, which makes this a simpler install than the equivalent on a TR120."

Frequently asked questions
Which cockpits does it fit?
The Alpine Racing TRX, the Porsche 91XTR and the Carbon Fibre TRX. It mounts directly to the sides of the chassis with no adapters.
Will it fit an aluminium extrusion rig?
No. For a profile rig with an 8mm T-slot, the TR-One Universal HOTAS Mount Set is the correct version.
Do I need extra supports?
No. Unlike the extrusion version, this mount needs no additional profile supports, because it fixes to the TRX chassis directly.
Does it come as a pair?
Yes, left and right, so the stick and throttle can be set relative to one another.
