This is a bracket. It is a solid stem and mount with screws, finished in matte black, and it exists to hold a ButtKicker Gamer series transducer on the side of an aluminium profile sim rig.
There is no ButtKicker in the box, and no bass shaker, amplifier or cable either. The word kit in the name refers to the stem, the mount and the screws. If you do not already own a ButtKicker, this is not the product that gets you tactile feedback.
Trak Racer specify it for the ButtKicker Gamer series, covering the Gamer, Gamer 1 and Gamer 2. The fitment is described as solid and adjustable, which is what you want with a transducer that is going to spend its life vibrating.
Other ButtKicker models are outside what this bracket is specified for, so check the unit you own before ordering. Our haptic systems range covers Trak Racer's own transducers, which use their own mounting solutions.
To the side of an extruded aluminium profile, which means the Trak Racer TR8 and TR8 Pro, the Alpine Racing TRX, and any other profile rig. Screws are supplied. You are not limited to one position, so you can put it wherever the transducer clears your legs and the seat.
Our aluminium chassis rigs pages set out which cockpits are built from extruded profile if you are not sure what you are working with.
A transducer sitting loose under a seat or resting on the floor loses most of what it produces to the room. Bolting it to the frame changes the whole character of the effect, because the energy now has somewhere rigid to go.
That is the entire job of this part and it does it properly, with an adjustable fitment rather than a single fixed position. Our hardware mounts range covers the equivalent brackets across the rest of the Trak Racer line. Our racing simulator cockpits pages list which of our cockpits are profile built if you need to check before ordering.
"We say this on the page rather than burying it: there is no ButtKicker in this box. It is a bracket for one you already own. Every return we have ever seen on a part like this is somebody who read the word kit and expected hardware, so we would rather be blunt about it than take the order."
