Trak Racer Universal Bass Shaker & ButtKicker Mount
A tactile transducer only works if it is bolted hard to the thing you are sitting on. Cable-tied to a frame rail or resting on a plate, most of the energy goes into the mount instead of into you. This holder fixes one shaker rigidly to the rig, and sits with the haptic systems we stock.
It is a single-shaker mount with two bolt patterns, so it takes transducers with mounting holes 71mm from centre, and those with holes between 94 and 150mm from centre spaced at 60 degrees.
Named fitments include the Trak Racer Bass Shaker, Dayton Audio BST-1, Aurasound AST-2B-4 and the ButtKicker LFE, Advance and Mini.

- Fits Dayton Audio BST-1 and Aurasound AST-2B-4
- Takes bolt patterns 71mm from centre
- Also takes 94 to 150mm patterns spaced at 60 degrees
- Mounts to Trak Racer tube and extrusion frames
- Rigid mounting for maximum energy transfer
- Pairs with Trak Racer bass shaker amplifier kits
Rigid mounting is the difference between feeling it and hearing it
A tactile transducer converts an audio signal into physical movement. Whatever it is bolted to becomes the thing that moves, so a soft or loose mount absorbs the output and turns detail into a general rumble.
Bolting the shaker hard to the cockpit frame sends that energy through the structure and into the seat, which is where it becomes information rather than noise. Kerb strikes, wheel lockups and surface changes arrive as distinct events instead of one continuous vibration.
Two bolt patterns, so most shakers fit
The plate carries mounting points at 71mm from centre, and a second pattern accepting anything between 94 and 150mm from centre at 60 degree spacing. That covers the common transducers directly: ButtKicker LFE, Advance and Mini, the Dayton Audio BST-1, the Aurasound AST-2B-4 and Trak Racer's own shaker.
If yours is not on that list, measure the bolt circle and check it against those two figures rather than guessing. This is a mount only, so the transducer and the amplifier are separate. Trak Racer offers two-channel and four-channel shaker kits, and the rest of the haptic systems covers what else can go on the rig.
Our expert take
"Most people underrate how much the mounting matters with tactile. A shaker that is loosely attached feels like a subwoofer under the desk; one bolted rigidly to the frame feels like the car. This is the cheap part that makes the expensive part work."
"It holds one shaker, so if you are planning a multi-point setup with separate transducers under the seat and the pedals, you need more than one of these. And it is the mount only, so budget for the transducer and an amplifier alongside it."

Frequently asked questions
Which shakers does it fit?
ButtKicker LFE, Advance and Mini, the Dayton Audio BST-1, the Aurasound AST-2B-4 and the Trak Racer Bass Shaker are all named. Anything with a 71mm bolt circle, or 94 to 150mm at 60 degree spacing, should also fit.
Is a shaker or amplifier included?
No. This is the mounting hardware only. Trak Racer offers two-channel and four-channel bass shaker kits, and those are in the haptic systems.
How many shakers does it hold?
One. For a multi-point tactile setup with transducers at the seat and the pedals, you would need one mount per shaker.
Which rigs does it fit?
Trak Racer tube frames including the TR8 PRO, TRX, Porsche 91XTR, Carbon Fibre TRX, TR5, TRF, Aston Martin AMR26, TR2, TR3, TR4 and Hot Wheels frames, plus the TR200, TRA, TR160, TR120, TR80S, TR40S and TRK extrusion frames.
