Trak Racer Adjustable Keyboard & Mouse Tray V2
Every sim rig eventually meets the same problem: you need a keyboard and mouse, and there is nowhere sensible to put them. Balanced on your knees, parked on the pedal deck, or on a chair beside the rig, all of which mean climbing out to alt-tab. This tray fixes that, and sits with the other keyboard and mouse trays we carry.
The keyboard tray measures 480 x 200mm and the mouse tray 200 x 200mm, both laser cut and finished in matte black. Adjustable elbows let the whole assembly be positioned where you actually want it rather than where the bracket lands.
It mounts on either the left or right of the wheel or flight stick, and fits any extruded aluminium cockpit, not only Trak Racer's.
Key features
- Keyboard tray measuring 480 x 200mm
- Mouse tray measuring 200 x 200mm
- Adjustable elbows for positioning
- Mounts on the left or right of the wheel or flight stick
- Fits any extruded aluminium cockpit
- Laser-cut construction
- Matte black finish to match cockpit frames
- Comprehensive installation instructions included
Positioned where you want it, on either side
The adjustable elbows are the reason this works across different rigs and different drivers. A fixed bracket puts the tray in one place and you adapt to it. Elbows let you set height and reach so the keyboard sits where your hands naturally fall when they leave the wheel.
Mounting on either side matters more than it sounds. On a racing rig the shifter usually claims the right, so the tray goes left. On a flight sim cockpit with a centre stick and a throttle quadrant, the free side is whichever one the throttle is not on. Being able to choose means the tray fits the rig you have built rather than dictating it.
Sized for a full keyboard and a real mouse area
480 x 200mm takes a full-size keyboard rather than forcing a compact one, and the separate 200 x 200mm mouse tray gives enough area for actual mouse movement rather than a token pad.
Both are laser cut and painted matte black, which matches Trak Racer frames and disappears against most other black profile rigs. It fits any extruded aluminium cockpit, so it is not limited to the racing simulator range, though Trak Racer specifically lists the TR200, TRA, TR160, TR120, TR80S, TR40S and TRK among their own frames.
Our expert take
"This is one of those accessories that seems trivial until you have one. Being able to alt-tab, adjust a setting or type into a Discord channel without getting out of the seat changes how a rig gets used, particularly for flight sim where the keyboard is part of the interface rather than an afterthought."
"The only real limitation is that it needs an extruded aluminium frame to clamp to. On a tube rig or a wheel stand there is nothing for it to grip, so check what your cockpit is made of before ordering."

Frequently asked questions
Which side does it mount on?
Either. It can be fitted to the left or right of the wheel or flight stick, which lets you work around a shifter, handbrake or throttle quadrant.
How big are the trays?
The keyboard tray is 480 x 200mm, which takes a full-size keyboard, and the mouse tray is 200 x 200mm.
Will it fit a rig that is not Trak Racer?
Yes. It fits any extruded aluminium cockpit. Trak Racer names the TR200, TRA, TR160, TR120, TR80S, TR40S and TRK among their own frames, and other profile-based rigs generally work. Check your profile size first if you are unsure.
Is a keyboard or mouse included?
No. This is the mounting tray only. Installation instructions are included, and it fits alongside the rest of the racing simulator accessories we stock.

Works great! Easily mounts to aluminum rig and had a nice stopper at the bottom so keyboard doesnt slide around.
I just started sim racing and was missing a keyboard and mouse tray for my aluminum cockpit and this one looked good and was cheap, would definitely recommend
I've had it for about 6 weeks now. Assembly was easy and placement was a breeze. Quality excellent. Two suggestions: 1) consider a third short articulation or even an additional joint the bar that supports the tray, to the facilitate the "perfect position placement," 2)Extend the little nubs that help retain the keyboard from falling off at an angle, maybe 1 cm.
Nice to have the keyboard accessible whilst seated in my rig, the only two criticism are the hinge part is very loose and won't keep the the platform level without adjusting the fixings to over come this and the keyboard continually drops of the platform if it's not is not secured by other means. I used to Velcro patches to overcome this. Would I buy it again at this price? definitely.
Very over built. This thing is insane. But it works well swinging it in and out for use. If you are looking for a light option. This is not for you. But if you want the stronget most industrial type keyboard and mouse tray. Nothing beats this.
