Description

Turn a single stand into a triple

Two 580mm arms in 80mm by 40mm extruded aluminium that bolt onto an existing single monitor stand and carry a screen each side. It is the cheapest route from one screen to three, because you keep the stand you already own and add to it.

Each arm suits monitors up to 45 inches. It clamps to an existing horizontal 80mm by 40mm aluminium extrusion with an 8mm T-slot, which is the profile Trak Racer's aluminium monitor stands are built from.

Trak Racer 580mm add-on triple monitor arms

Key features

  • Two arms per set
  • 580mm arm length
  • 80mm by 40mm extruded aluminium
  • Suits monitors up to 45 inches
  • VESA 75 and 100 as standard
  • 150, 200, 300 and 400 via included extension brackets

580mm or 980mm

Arm length decides how far out your side screens sit, and how large they can be before they foul the centre one. At 580mm this set suits screens up to 45 inches, which covers most triple setups built around 27 to 34 inch panels.

If you are running larger screens, or you want the side screens further out for a wider field of view, the 980mm arms go to 55 inches. Order the length for the screens you will end up with rather than the ones you have now.

The VESA extensions are in the box

Standard VESA 75 and 100 patterns bolt straight up. Larger screens use 150, 200, 300 or 400mm patterns, and the extension brackets for those are included rather than sold separately, which is worth knowing when comparing sets.

Check the pattern on the back of your monitor before ordering. It is usually printed near the mounting holes or listed in the manual, and it is the one specification that decides whether a screen will physically attach.

Which stands these fit

These are aluminium extrusion arms, so they need an aluminium extrusion stand to clamp to. If your stand is a steel tube design rather than a slotted profile, these will not attach and the steel side arms are the correct part instead.

Look at the horizontal bar on your stand. A square profile with a channel running along each face is extrusion. A round or rectangular tube with no channel is not. The rest of our sim racing monitor stands range covers both families.

Our expert take

"The mistake we see most often is buying arms for the wrong kind of stand. Extrusion and tube are two different systems and nothing crosses over. Check for the slot before you order, and if you are unsure, send us a photo of the horizontal bar."

- Blake Sterling, Founder & CEO, Gamer Gear Direct
