Feedback at your hands and feet
Two compact transducers built to bolt onto the controls rather than the seat. The idea is simple: put the vibration where your hands and feet actually touch the car, instead of sending everything through the chassis and hoping you feel it.
Each unit is 10W nominal with 20W peak handling on an 8 ohm load, tuned to work between 33Hz and 100Hz. At 98mm square and 31mm deep they fit under a pedal plate or on the side of a shifter without getting in the way.
Key features
- Two shakers supplied
- 10W nominal, 20W peak each
- 33Hz to 100Hz operating range
- 8 ohm rated AC impedance
- 98 x 98 x 31mm, 0.35kg each
- Mounting brackets, fasteners and tools included
Pedals, shifter and handbrake
On the pedals you feel ABS pulses and lockup as a texture through your foot rather than as a sound. On the shifter you get the engagement of the gate. On a handbrake you get the moment the rear axle lets go. All of it arrives at the control rather than being diluted through the frame.
That is why these are 10W rather than 100W. A control mounted shaker does not need force, it needs definition, and a smaller unit on a light bracket responds faster than a heavy one bolted to a large mass.
Quiet enough for a shared house
Low wattage means low airborne noise. Compared with a large chassis shaker these put very little into the room and almost nothing into the floor, which is what makes them workable in an apartment or a house where somebody else is asleep.
If you want the whole rig moving as well, the 100W shaker is the chassis unit and the two are complementary rather than alternatives.
Driving them
They need an amplifier, and specifically one with enough channels to run each unit separately, because the whole benefit is tuning the pedal and the shifter differently. The 4 channel 40W amplifier kit is built for this, with four channels rated 10W RMS each and a low pass filter.
Software such as SimHub lets you assign effects per channel, so brake lockup goes to the pedal and gear change goes to the shifter. Trak Racer also publish their own Device Manager as a free download. Our racing simulator accessories range covers the rest of the cockpit hardware. Our haptic systems pages set out which amplifier suits which shaker across the range.
Our expert take
"Most people put their first shaker under the seat and their second one on the brake pedal, and then tell us the brake pedal was the one that changed how they drive. Feeling the exact moment the fronts let go through your foot is worth more lap time than feeling the engine through your back."

Frequently asked questions
Is an amplifier included?
No. These are the two shakers with wire, brackets, fasteners and tools. A dedicated low frequency amplifier is needed, and a multi channel one lets you tune each shaker separately.
Are mounting brackets included?
Yes. Dedicated mounting brackets, a full fastener kit and installation tools are supplied.
Can I put them under the seat instead?
They will work on a seat or a frame, but at 10W they are sized for control mounted use. A 100W unit is the better choice for the chassis.
What frequency range do they cover?
Each shaker is tuned to operate between 33Hz and 100Hz, with a 33Hz resonant frequency.
