PXN A11 Sim Racing Wheel Stand
The PXN A11 is the heavy-duty option in PXN's foldable wheel stand range, rated for wheelbases up to 10Nm. That takes it past gear and belt-driven wheels and into entry-level direct drive territory, while keeping the fold-away convenience that makes a wheel stand worth having in a shared room.
The frame is Q235 carbon structural steel and weighs about 14.2kg. The wheel deck adjusts for height and angle, the pedal plate and footrest can both be angled to suit your seating position, and the side plate takes a shifter or handbrake on either side. It is set up for a relaxed, laid-back driving position in front of a gaming chair or couch.
There is no assembly: unfold it, lock it and race. Pre-drilled plates suit most popular wheels, pedals and shifters, including PXN's own range. It sits at the top of the PXN sim racing range of wheel stands.
Key features
- Rated for wheelbases up to 10Nm
- Q235 carbon structural steel frame, about 14.2kg
- Telescopic wheel deck with about 25cm of height adjustment
- Tilting wheel plate for a natural arm angle
- Pedal plate with three angle positions
- Adjustable footrest module
- Shifter or handbrake plate mounts on the left or right
- Pre-drilled for PXN, Logitech, Thrustmaster, Fanatec and MOZA
- No assembly: unfolds ready to race
- Folds to 13cm deep for storage
Built for up to 10Nm of force feedback
Force feedback puts load through the wheel deck every time the car loads up in a corner, and a light stand shows it as flex and wobble. The A11 is built to take wheelbases up to 10Nm, so it suits gear, belt and entry-level direct drive wheels without the deck shifting under you.
The frame is Q235 carbon structural steel, and at about 14.2kg it is noticeably heavier than the 11kg PXN A10. That extra mass keeps it settled on the floor under hard braking as well as steering load.
Height, wheel angle and pedal tilt
Loosen the collar on each upright and the wheel deck telescopes through about 25cm of height, then locks in place. The wheel plate also tilts, so you can set the rim at a natural angle to your arms whether you sit upright or lean back.
At floor level, the pedal plate has three angle positions and the footrest module can be angled too, so your heels stay supported through long sessions. Pair it with a set of sim racing pedals to complete the setup.
Wide compatibility and a left or right shifter
The wheel plate is pre-drilled for PXN V10 and V12, Logitech G25, G27, G29 and G923, Thrustmaster T300, TGT, TS-PC and T500, Fanatec CSR and CSW, and MOZA R3, R5 and R9. The pedal plate and shifter plate carry their own patterns for popular pedal sets and shifters, including the MOZA SGP.
The shifter plate fits on either side of the stand, so you can run an H-pattern or sequential unit from our sim racing shifters range, or a handbrake for rally, wherever it suits your driving hand.
Unfold, race, fold away
The A11 needs no assembly. Unfold it, lock the joints, mount your hardware and it is ready to race. When you are done it folds down to about 56 x 82.5 x 13cm, thin enough to stand beside a desk or against a wall.
That makes it a practical way to run a proper wheel setup in an apartment, bedroom or living room where a permanent cockpit is not an option. Always make sure every joint is locked before you start driving.
Our expert take
"The A11 is the PXN stand to choose if your wheel is heading towards direct drive. The 10Nm rating and the extra weight in the frame are what separate it from the lighter A9 and A10, and the adjustable footrest makes the laid-back position more comfortable over a long session."
"The caveat is the ceiling. Beyond 10Nm, or if you want a rigid, permanent setup, a proper racing simulator cockpit is the better platform."
