Logitech RS50
The Logitech RS50 is a direct drive racing system built for drivers who want realistic force feedback without complicated setup or tuning.
Designed as a complete plug-and-play solution, the Logitech RS50 delivers up to 8Nm of direct drive torque, giving you smooth, precise steering that reacts instantly to every input. From subtle road texture to heavy cornering loads, feedback feels immediate and controlled, helping you stay connected to the car at all times.
Powered by TRUEFORCE technology, the RS50 connects directly to in-game physics and audio engines. This allows it to translate engine vibrations, tyre grip changes, and surface detail into high-definition haptic feedback, creating a more immersive and lifelike driving experience than traditional force feedback systems.
Whether you’re racing from a desk or a full simulator cockpit, the Logitech RS50 is built to make high-end sim racing accessible, reliable, and easy to enjoy.

How the Logitech RS50 compares to other racing wheels
Many racing wheels rely on gear-driven or belt-driven systems, which can introduce lag, friction, and inconsistent feedback. The Logitech RS50 uses true direct drive technology, delivering cleaner, faster, and more accurate force feedback with far fewer mechanical compromises.
Compared to entry-level wheels, the RS50 offers significantly stronger and more detailed feedback thanks to its 8Nm direct drive motor and TRUEFORCE integration.
While higher-end systems like the Logitech PRO Wheel deliver even more torque and advanced adjustability, the RS50 focuses on delivering a balanced, realistic experience that’s easy to set up and enjoy without extensive tuning.
For racers who want direct drive realism, console and PC compatibility, and minimal setup complexity, the Logitech RS50 hits the sweet spot between performance and simplicity.
Powerful direct drive motor with TRUEFORCE feedback
Every corner feels sharper and more controlled with the Logitech RS50.
Its direct drive motor produces up to 8Nm of torque, allowing you to feel weight transfer, grip loss, and surface detail with clarity. Because the system is gear-free and belt-free, steering response is immediate, smooth, and consistent.
TRUEFORCE enhances this further by pulling real-time data directly from supported games. Engine vibrations, kerb impacts, and road texture are delivered as high-fidelity haptics, giving you feedback that feels alive rather than filtered.
Race-ready straight out of the box
The Logitech RS50 is designed to remove setup friction.
The wheel base, wheel hub, and RS Round Wheel arrive pre-assembled, so you can mount, connect, and start racing without complicated installation steps. Everything fits together cleanly and securely, making it easy to focus on driving instead of configuration.
Whether you’re upgrading from an older wheel or starting fresh, the RS50 makes the transition to direct drive smooth and stress-free.
Plug-and-play with PC and console
The Logitech RS50 supports PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One.
Once connected, the system is automatically recognised, allowing you to jump straight into supported racing titles without manual calibration or complex software setup. Switching between platforms is quick and simple, making it ideal for racers who play across multiple systems.
Built for the Logitech racing ecosystem
The Logitech RS50 integrates seamlessly with Logitech racing accessories.
It works with Logitech RS Pedals, Logitech PRO Pedals, and the Logitech RS Shifter & Handbrake, allowing you to build a complete Logitech racing setup over time. The integrated quick release system also makes it easy to swap wheels as your setup evolves.
This ecosystem approach ensures compatibility, reliability, and a clean racing experience without third-party workarounds.
Trusted by racers worldwide
Logitech racing hardware is used and trusted by professional drivers and sim racers around the world. The RS50 benefits from Logitech’s long-standing experience in motorsport simulation, delivering hardware designed for durability, consistency, and long-term performance.
It’s built to withstand regular use while maintaining smooth, accurate feedback session after session.
Frequently asked questions
Is the RS50 System ready to use straight out of the box?
Yes, it’s fully pre-assembled with the base, hub, and wheel already connected. You just plug it into your PC, PlayStation, or Xbox and start racing. Everything you need, including the table clamp and rig mounting hardware, is in the box. No extra setup or calibration is required.
Can I use the RS50 System with my current Logitech pedals or shifter?
Yes, you can. The RS50 System works perfectly with your existing Logitech G Series Pedals and Driving Force Shifter when paired with the Logitech G Racing Adapter. You can upgrade your setup at your own pace without replacing what already works.
Does the RS50 System work on both consoles and PC?
Yes, it’s fully compatible with Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Windows PCs. Just plug it in, select your game, and you’re good to go. It’s designed to make switching between platforms easy without complicated settings.
What makes the RS50 System different from older Logitech wheels?
Unlike older belt or gear-driven models, the RS50 System uses Direct Drive technology with up to 8 Nm of torque. This gives you precise, instant feedback that feels closer to real driving. It’s smoother, stronger, and far more accurate.
Does TRUEFORCE really make a difference while racing?
Yes, TRUEFORCE takes the data from your game’s physics and audio and turns it into high-definition haptic feedback. You’ll feel every bump, brake, and change in road texture in real time. It adds a new level of immersion that makes racing feel far more natural.
Can I mount it on a desk or do I need a racing rig?
You can do either. The RS50 System includes both the table clamp for easy desk mounting and the hardware needed for rig setups. It’s sturdy and secure on both, so you can race however you prefer.
How strong is the direct drive motor?
The RS50 System delivers up to 8 Nm of peak torque, giving you a powerful yet controlled feel. It reacts instantly to your movements without lag or looseness. It’s the kind of strength that gives you full confidence through every turn.
Is the RS50 System suitable for beginners?
Absolutely. It’s built for both new and experienced racers. The plug-and-play setup gets you started fast, and the realistic feedback helps you learn proper control right from the start. You’ll grow into it as your skills improve.
Does the RS50 System support all major racing games?
Yes, most popular racing titles on PC and consoles now support Logitech’s TRUEFORCE and Direct Drive wheels. You can find a full list of supported games on the Logitech G website, but nearly every major racing sim works right out of the box.
What materials are used in the RS50 System?
It’s made with low-carbon aluminium and certified post-consumer recycled plastic, giving it both strength and a smaller environmental footprint. The design looks premium, feels solid, and reflects Logitech’s move toward more sustainable production.

Great Wheel, very happy with purchase ;) You don't need to spend thousands on other wheels, this one does the job and go a long way. Plenty of power.
WAIT—if you’re into sim racing, this is crazy. Logitech G just leveled up with the RS50 System, and yeah… it hits different. First off, the RS Pedals? These are not toy pedals. The throttle is smooth, the brake feels serious, and the control you get under pressure is chef’s kiss. You actually feel connected to the car, not just tapping plastic. Now the RS50 System as a whole—this thing is built for immersion. Super clean setup, modular vibes, and it feels like Logitech said, “Let’s make pro-level gear but keep it accessible.” Every input feels intentional. Every lap feels tighter. And once you try it… going back is NOT an option. If you’re building a sim rig or thinking about upgrading— RS50 System + RS Pedals = instant glow-up. Trust me, your lap times will thank you.
This Logitech System has been such a fun upgrade for gaming in my house. The steering wheel feels really solid and has a nice realistic weight to it, and the force feedback makes racing feel way more immersive than using a regular controller. I like that the buttons are easy to reach and the steering feels smooth and responsive. It did take a little bit of adjusting to get everything set up the way I like it, but once it was ready, it worked great. This is an awesome setup to have.
Honestly, I’ve been really impressed, this feels like the Direct Drive wheel Logitech should have made a while ago. It’s a genuine step up, and you definitely feel that 8Nm of force. Getting started was surprisingly chill, the setup is straightforward. I bolted the cast aluminum base to my rig (it has a great, premium weight to it), plugged it into the PS5, and it was basically plug-and-play. The little OLED screen on the base helps you select your platform and get logged in quickly - no fussing with PC software just to start racing. Performance-wise, the functionality is fantastic. The Force Feedback is smooth, strong, and detailed. Coming from an older geared wheel, the difference is night and day - you feel all the little road textures and bumps, thanks to that TrueForce tech. You can easily tweak settings right on the base's screen, which is super convenient mid-race. Best of all, it's blissfully quiet. Direct Drive means no noisy gears, and the passive cooling means no fan hum. The only noise is the satisfying thudding and clanking of the strong FFB as you hit curbs - which is exactly what you want to hear! The wheel rim itself feels great in the hands, and the quick-release is rock-solid, giving you confidence while driving hard. The documentation provided was perfectly adequate for the initial physical mounting and connections, though I found Logitech’s online tutorials more helpful for the deep-dive FFB fine-tuning later on. Overall, it’s a high-quality, surprisingly refined piece of kit that has genuinely elevated my sim racing on PS5.
A great and very smooth and strong easy to install and very sturdy ! High quality steering wheels with smooth touch . Easy to set up and start the game instantly on my Ps5
