Trak Racer Freestanding Triple Monitor Stand
Triples on a frame of their own. Three screens wrapped around the driver, carried by a stand that never touches the cockpit, which means the rig can be moved, upgraded or replaced without disturbing the screens at all. It sits with the rest of the sim racing monitor stands we carry.
It takes three displays up to 45 inches each and creates a genuine wrap-around field of view without any of the mounting work a cockpit-mounted stand requires.
That independence is the point. Nothing the wheelbase does reaches the panels, and the same stand works with whatever cockpit you own now and whatever you own next.
Key features
- Carries three displays up to 45 inches each
- Freestanding, so no vibration transfer from the rig
- Creates a wrap-around viewing angle
- Monitor position adjusts without modifying the cockpit
- Rigid frame built for simulator use
- Works with Trak Racer tube and extrusion cockpits
- Suits shared and commercial installations
- Supports direct drive and high-end setups
Screens that stay put while the rig changes
The strongest argument for a freestanding triple is not vibration, it is independence. The stand does not care what cockpit is in front of it, which means you can change rigs, sell one and buy another, or run a motion platform, and the screens simply stay where they are.
That suits shared spaces and commercial installations particularly well, where the cockpit might be swapped between sessions or the room used for more than one thing. It also means no drilling, no brackets and no compromise on the rig's own structure.
Wrap-around geometry without the mounting work
Three screens only work as a triple if the side panels angle in toward the driver. Flat, they behave as one very wide screen with a broken horizon at each bezel, which is worse than a single display.
This stand sets that geometry on its own frame, so the wrap comes from the stand rather than from brackets bolted to the cockpit. Position adjusts without modifying the rig at all, which is what makes it viable in a setup you do not want to drill into. Compare it against the cockpit-mounted options in the sim racing monitor stands if floor space is tight.
Fitment and floor space
Trak Racer lists it against their tube frames including the FS3, RS6, TR8 PRO, TRX, Porsche 91XTR, Carbon Fibre TRX, TR5, TRF, Aston Martin AMR26, TR2, TR3, TR4 and the Hot Wheels HW2, HW3 and HW5 and their extrusion frames including the TR200, TRA, TR160, TR120, TR80S, TR40S and TRK, and as a freestanding stand it will work alongside most other cockpits too.
The thing to plan for is depth. A freestanding triple needs real room behind the rig for the legs and the frame, so measure the space before ordering. Ask us if you want a specific room layout or cockpit checked.
Our expert take
"Freestanding triples are the right answer for motion rigs and for anyone who expects to change cockpits. The screens become a fixture of the room rather than part of the rig, which is a genuinely different way to think about a setup."
"Forty-five inches per panel is the ceiling here, and three 45 inch screens is already a very wide array. If you want larger panels, the version with extra leg supports carries three up to 55 inches with a 170kg load capacity, and the extra legs are there specifically to stop the outer screens sagging."

Frequently asked questions
How big can the screens be?
Up to 45 inches each across all three positions. For larger panels, the version with extra leg supports carries three displays up to 55 inches.
Does it attach to my cockpit?
No, and that is the point. It stands on its own frame, so it works with any rig and stays put if you change cockpits.
Will it suit a motion platform?
Yes. Because the screens are isolated from the rig, a moving platform does not move the image, which is exactly what you want on a motion setup. See the racing simulator accessories for what else pairs with one.
Which rigs is it listed against?
Trak Racer names their tube frames including the FS3, RS6, TR8 PRO, TRX, Porsche 91XTR, Carbon Fibre TRX, TR5, TRF, Aston Martin AMR26, TR2, TR3, TR4 and the Hot Wheels HW2, HW3 and HW5 and their extrusion frames including the TR200, TRA, TR160, TR120, TR80S, TR40S and TRK, and it works alongside most other cockpits as well.

I wanted to setup for triple 27" monitors . This kit has so much stuff i didnt need . It could have reduced the price the boxes the weight if that was an option. I have so much left over. Besides that a great kit
This is my first rig, adjustability is easy. A must for triple monitors.
Great product! Not that hard to setup, I would recommend it.
One side of the tube extensions for the top monitor would not fit into the main monitor tubes. The bottom had a welding seam on the id of the tube which would not allow the top pole to slide into it. So i ground the id welding seam to down to flush. It still would not slide in. Took a look at top tubes end and it was flared out at the tip. Not allowing it to slide in. I had to file the end down until it fit in. Otherwise the stand is easy to assemble and very sturdy. Overall i am very happy with it.
