Trak Racer Flight Sim Control Mount with Short Side Support
The compact single-arm kit: one 240mm aluminium profile support with two mounting plates, for controls that sit close to the cockpit rather than wide of it. It sits with the flight simulator controls we stock.
A 240mm arm keeps a joystick or throttle tucked in near the frame, which suits smaller controls, tighter rooms and cockpits where a long arm would foul a monitor stand or a doorway.
Both mounting plates are included, along with every bracket needed to fit it.

Short arms are a choice, not a compromise
Not every setup wants controls sitting wide. A compact stick like a T.16000M or an Extreme 3D Pro does not need 666mm of reach, and in a small room the extra width is a genuine nuisance around doorways and furniture.
240mm keeps the control close to the frame, which also means less leverage on the mounting point and a stiffer feel under load. For a smaller HOTAS or a single-stick setup, the short arm is the better engineering answer as well as the tidier one.
One arm, two plates
The kit supplies one 240mm support arm and two mounting plates, so a joystick and a throttle are both covered even though only one arm is included. The second plate mounts to whatever support your frame already provides.
If your cockpit has no side supports at all, the two-arm short version is the complete solution and avoids a second order. Both are in the hardware mounts.

Which flight controls will it hold?
The two mounting plates take joysticks, throttles and quadrants from Thrustmaster across the HOTAS Warthog, T.Flight HOTAS One and 4, T.16000M and FCS, the TCA Quadrant, Officer and Sidestick Airbus editions and the TWCS throttle; Logitech and Saitek including the X52, X52 Professional and X56; Honeycomb Alpha and Bravo; Virpil, VKB, Winwing, VirtualFly and Hori. The Honeycomb Bravo attaches using a clamp.
Which cockpits does it fit?
Any aluminium profile cockpit with an 8mm T-slot, including Trak Racer's own extrusion frames and other branded rigs built from the same profile.
How long is the support arm?
240mm, which keeps controls close to the cockpit frame. The long-arm version is 666mm and height adjustable, for controls that need to sit wider.
Are the mounting plates included?
Yes. Two flight sim mounting plates come with every kit, along with all the brackets and hardware needed to fit it. The controls themselves are separate, and the flight simulator controls covers those.
