Trak Racer Flight Sim Control Mount with 2 Short Side Supports
Two 240mm support arms and two mounting plates: the complete compact solution for a cockpit with no side supports of its own. It sits with the flight simulator controls we stock.
Short arms keep a joystick and throttle close to the frame, which suits smaller controls and rooms where width is at a premium, and puts less leverage on the mounting points.
Every bracket and fastener needed to fit it is in the box.
Key features
- Two 240mm aluminium profile support arms
- Compact reach on both sides
- Two flight sim mounting plates included
- Fully adjustable joystick and throttle positions
- 80x40mm aluminium profile construction
- Durable matte black finish
- Fits any aluminium profile with an 8mm T-slot
- All brackets and hardware included
Complete, compact and both sides covered
This is the short-arm equivalent of the two-support long kit. Both arms, both plates, one order, and controls that sit tucked in rather than wide.
For a smaller HOTAS, a single stick plus a compact throttle, or a room where the rig has to live against a wall, this is the sensible configuration. Less width, less leverage, and no second purchase needed later.
Choosing between short and long arms
The decision is about how far your controls need to sit from the seat. A Warthog throttle or a Bravo quadrant benefits from the 666mm long arms and their 350mm of height adjustment. A T.16000M, an Extreme 3D Pro or a compact quadrant does not.
Measure where your hands fall with your arms relaxed, then compare against 240mm of reach. If in doubt ask us, and browse the hardware mounts to see the full set of options side by side.
Our expert take
"The complete compact kit, and the one we would recommend for most home setups. Two arms, two plates, and controls that stay within the rig's footprint rather than sticking out into the room."
"If you run a large HOTAS with a Warthog throttle, the long-arm version is the better fit. 240mm keeps things tidy, but a big throttle wants width, and cramping it in changes how you fly."

Frequently asked questions
Which flight controls will it hold?
The two mounting plates take joysticks, throttles and quadrants from Thrustmaster across the HOTAS Warthog, T.Flight HOTAS One and 4, T.16000M and FCS, the TCA Quadrant, Officer and Sidestick Airbus editions and the TWCS throttle; Logitech and Saitek including the X52, X52 Professional and X56; Honeycomb Alpha and Bravo; Virpil, VKB, Winwing, VirtualFly and Hori. The Honeycomb Bravo attaches using a clamp.
Which cockpits does it fit?
Any aluminium profile cockpit with an 8mm T-slot, including Trak Racer's own extrusion frames and other branded rigs built from the same profile.
Should I choose short or long arms?
Short 240mm arms suit compact controls and tighter rooms. The 666mm long arms, which are also height adjustable, suit a full HOTAS with a large throttle that needs to sit wide.
Are the mounting plates included?
Yes. Two flight sim mounting plates come with every kit, along with all the brackets and hardware needed to fit it. The controls themselves are separate, and the flight simulator controls covers those.
