The FS3 wheel stand is compact by design, which leaves nowhere obvious to put speakers. This three-piece kit mounts them to the stand itself, in front of the driver, so the audio arrives from where the action is rather than from a desk somewhere behind you. It sits with the other hardware mounts we carry.
The mounts are laser-cut steel, lightweight and painted matte black to match the frame.
They fit all FS3 wheel stands and other aluminium profile rigs, and take any speaker with a wall-mount fitting on the back.
On a compact wheel stand the speakers usually end up wherever there is desk space, which is typically behind or beside the driver. That puts the engine note and the road noise in the wrong place relative to the screen, and the brain notices even when you do not consciously register it.
Mounting three speakers to the stand itself puts the sound in front, aligned with the view. It is a small change with an outsized effect on how convincing a compact setup feels, and it costs less than almost anything else you could do to the rig.
One thing Trak Racer is upfront about and worth repeating: mounting this kit to an aluminium profile rig needs 6mm T-nuts, and those are not supplied. On an FS3 wheel stand that does not apply, but on a profile rig you will need them. Ask us and we will make sure you have the right fasteners in the same order.
The speakers themselves need a wall-mount fitting on the back to attach. If yours have no mounting point, the larger 5-speaker kit for aluminium rigs is a better starting point since it ships with its own T-nuts and screws. Both are in the racing simulator accessories.
"For an FS3 owner this is an easy yes. Getting the speakers off the desk and onto the stand, in front of the driver, is the cheapest meaningful upgrade available to a compact rig."
"Two things to check. The 6mm T-nuts needed for an aluminium profile rig are not in the box, so factor those in if you are not fitting it to an FS3. And your speakers need a wall-mount fitting on the back, which not every compact satellite has."

No. This is the mounting hardware only, and your speakers need a wall-mount fitting on the back in order to attach.
The 6mm T-nuts required for mounting to aluminium sim rigs are not supplied. Assembly instructions are included. Ask us and we will make sure the right fasteners go out with your order.
The 5-speaker kit for aluminium rigs mounts five speakers instead of three, includes its own T-nuts and screws, and is built for extruded aluminium cockpits rather than the FS3. It is listed in the hardware mounts.

These are an incredible upgrade to the 120 rig. I always wanted to the sound to be immersive as well as the visuals, but making mounts was proving to be a problem.
Very good mounting solution for my rig.
Great fit and finish and really works well for the 5.1 setup. I ended up flipping the center channel mount upside down so it 'projects' sound a little better under the monitor. The screws hold all the speakers securely in place with zero rattling, even at high volume.
These things are made to last. It's definitely better to have the speakers on these then at random locations.
used the front and center mount. the rear speaker mounts were too low so I put them on a stand.
