Description
PXN F16 Flight Joystick
The PXN F16 is a desktop flight joystick for PC. It gives you pitch and roll on the stick, rudder control by twisting the grip, and a throttle control on the base, so you can fly from a single unit instead of a keyboard or gamepad.
The stick has a rapid-fire trigger, an 8-way hat switch and 12 programmable buttons, plus a vibration function you can switch on or off. The wide base is designed to sit flat on a desk.
It works with Windows XP to 11 over USB, and the driver installs automatically when you plug it in. It is part of the PXN range.
Key features
- Pitch, roll, twist rudder and throttle axes
- Twist grip rudder control
- Throttle control with 120 degree rotation
- 12 programmable buttons
- 8-way hat switch
- Rapid-fire trigger
- Vibration with an on/off switch
- Wired USB, driver installs automatically
Controls under your hand
The 8-way hat switch sits under your thumb for looking around the cockpit, with the rapid-fire trigger under your index finger and more buttons on the stick head and base.
With 12 programmable buttons you can assign landing gear, flaps, weapons, views or radio functions to suit the game you are flying.
Throttle and twist rudder
A throttle control on the base turns through 120 degrees, giving you finer control over engine power than a keyboard key. Twisting the grip yaws the aircraft, so you have rudder control without separate pedals.
That makes the F16 a complete single-stick setup for desktop flying. If you would rather have a separate throttle for your left hand, see the PXN 2119 Pro Flight Stick and Throttle.
Vibration you control
The F16 has a built-in vibration function for feedback in supported games. A switch on the bottom turns it on or off, and the strength can be adjusted in the driver.
It is vibration rather than force feedback, so the stick does not push back against your hand. Browse our flight sim joysticks for other options.
Size and fit
The F16 measures roughly 19.9 x 19.7 x 22cm, so it fits beside a keyboard on a standard desk.
The wide base spreads the stick's footprint across the desk, helping it stay settled when you make larger stick movements.
Our expert take
"The F16 is an easy first flight stick for PC. Twist rudder, a throttle on the base and 12 programmable buttons cover what most combat and civil flight games ask for, and being able to switch the vibration off is a nice touch."
"It is an entry-level, PC-only stick without force feedback, so it suits newcomers and casual flying rather than study-level simming. Compare it with the PXN 2113 Pro, step up to the PXN 2119 Pro for a separate throttle and console support, or explore our HOTAS and rudder pedals as your setup grows."

Frequently asked questions
Does the PXN F16 work on PlayStation or Xbox?
No. The F16 is for Windows PC (Windows XP to 11). For PS4 and Xbox One, see the PXN 2119 Pro Flight Stick and Throttle.
Does it have force feedback?
No. The F16 has vibration, which can be switched on or off, but not force feedback.
Do I need to install a driver?
The driver installs automatically when you plug the joystick into your PC by USB.
Does it have a throttle and rudder?
Yes. A throttle control on the base turns through 120 degrees, and twisting the grip gives you rudder control.
How is the F16 different from the PXN 2113 Pro?
Both are single-stick PC joysticks with twist rudder, a throttle, an 8-way hat, a rapid-fire trigger and switchable vibration. The F16 uses a throttle control with 120 degree rotation and a wide desktop base, while the PXN 2113 Pro uses a throttle lever and a suction cup base.
What warranty does the PXN F16 have?
It is covered by a 12-month manufacturer warranty, supported locally by the Gamer Gear Direct team.
