Max Flight Stick Anti-Torque Pedals
The Max Flight Stick Anti-Torque Pedals are a standalone set of helicopter rudder pedals for PC and Mac flight sims. They are the seventh generation of Max Flight Stick anti-torque pedals, first developed for their Huey controls.
The pedals are solid aluminium, running on high-quality Japanese-made ball joints and ball bearings, with two in-house pistons providing the resistance. Position is read by a Hall effect sensor through a 12-bit analogue to digital converter, and the set connects over a single USB cable.
Key features
- Seventh-generation helicopter anti-torque pedals
- Solid aluminium pedals
- Japanese-made ball joints and ball bearings
- Two in-house pistons for damped resistance
- Hall effect sensor
- 12-bit analogue to digital conversion
- Windows and Mac compatible
- Plug and play over a single USB connection
Smooth, damped pedal travel
Two of Max Flight Stick's own pistons resist the pedals, so they move with a weighted, progressive feel and settle without bouncing. That makes small corrections for holding heading in the hover far easier than on spring-loaded pedals.
Pair them with a cyclic and collective to complete your setup. Browse our helicopter controls for the rest of the range.
Frequently asked questions
Do these pedals have toe brakes?
No. They are helicopter anti-torque pedals with a single rudder axis, which is how the real aircraft works.
Can I use them with other brands of cyclic and collective?
Yes. They connect to your PC or Mac as their own USB device, so you can assign the axis in your sim alongside controls from any brand. See our rudder pedals for more options.
Which simulators does it work with?
Max Flight Stick lists DCS, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and 2020, FSX, X-Plane, Prepar3D, FlightGear and War Thunder, plus any PC flight sim that accepts a USB game controller.
Does it work on Xbox or PlayStation?
No. It is built for PC (Windows XP through to Windows 11) and Mac, connected with a single USB cable.
