Description
Max Flight Stick 206/407/Huey Cyclic
The Max Flight Stick 206/407/Huey Cyclic is a standalone helicopter cyclic for PC and Mac, shaped for the Bell 206, Bell 407 and UH-1H Huey. It is the seventh generation of Max Flight Stick 206/407/Huey cyclic.
The grip carries 3 push buttons, a dual-stage trigger and a hat switch. Both axes read through Hall effect sensors and a 12-bit analogue to digital converter, and custom dampers give the stick a controlled, weighted feel.
This is the metal version, with the grip printed in industrial-grade aluminium. It connects with a single USB cable, and its control box lets you expand into a full Max Flight Stick system.
Key features
- Seventh-generation 206/407/Huey cyclic
- Grip printed in aluminium
- 3 push buttons, dual-stage trigger, hat
- Hall effect sensors on both axes
- 12-bit analogue to digital conversion
- Custom dampers for a weighted feel
- Several mounting options
- Control box for system expansion
- Windows and Mac compatible
- Plug and play over a single USB connection
One cyclic for three Bell types
The curved stick and grip suit the Bell 206 JetRanger, the Bell 407 and the UH-1H Huey, three of the most flown helicopters in civil and military sims. The dual-stage trigger, 3 push buttons and hat switch cover trim, radios and views.
Hall effect sensors read pitch and roll without contact, so there is nothing inside the sensor to wear over time.
Damped, and ready to grow
Custom dampers slow the stick's return and add weight to every input, which makes small hover corrections far more natural than on a spring-centred joystick.
The built-in control box allows the cyclic to be expanded with Max Flight Stick collectives and pedals into a full system. Browse our helicopter controls to complete your setup.
Our expert take
"If you mostly fly Bell types, this is the cyclic to start with. One grip covers the JetRanger, the 407 and the Huey, the dampers give it a proper helicopter feel, and the control box means it can grow into a full set later."
"It is a cyclic only, so you will want a collective and pedals for full control, and it has fewer buttons than the combat-focused grips in the range. It works on PC and Mac only."
